Ji Wei gritted her teeth and yanked hard on the bandage, making the pain even worse. She used this pain to keep herself clear-headed, so she wouldn’t collapse, and picked up the lamp on the bedside table, hurling it violently at Zhou Boliang.

Hearing his provocative confession, Ji Wei felt utterly disgusted, furrowing her brows tightly. Her tone became softer, gently playing with his chest, "As long as you don’t randomly post my photos, I can be with you tonight."
Zhou Boliang’s eyes widened, looking incredulously at Ji Wei, his eyes shining, "Willingly following me?"
He had been infatuated with Ji Wei for a long time. Now hearing her speak was like seeing her in the movies, so charming and seductive. Just one glance and his body couldn’t help but react.
"Of course it’s true. I’m already in the palm of your hand, can I possibly fly away?" Ji Wei held back her disgust, throwing him a comforting flirtatious glance. Now was not the time to be strong; deceiving Zhou Boliang was her chance to escape.
Zhou Boliang felt his bones turning to mush, inadvertently drooling at the corners of his mouth, opening his arms to embrace her.
"Mr. Zhou, no need to be so hasty."
Ji Wei coyly evaded him, smiling sweetly, "At least go take a shower first, Mr. Zhou, I have a cleanliness obsession."
"You wouldn’t be planning to run off while I’m in the shower, would you?" Zhou Boliang was just about to agree when he sensed something was off. He chuckled mischievously, lifted her chin, and blew on her red lips, "Remember, tonight, don’t even think about it!"
His voice was light, but it carried a chilling menace that made Ji Wei’s body shiver. Her almond-shaped eyes flickered, and she smiled as she pushed his hand away, "Mr. Zhou, what are you saying? Climbing up to you, my star path will be smooth; I’m too happy, how could I think of escaping?"
"Really won’t escape?" Zhou Boliang was skeptical.
"You actually don’t believe me. Fine, I’ll go wash first, is that okay?"
Ji Wei pretended to frown in anger, bent slightly as if to tidy the bed, grabbed the phone with her hand, and walked into the bathroom.
