"Did you hurt yourself when you fell?" Leng Ye didn’t bother closing the car door and ran to her side, his tightly knit brows betraying his concern.
"Big brother?" Wen Nuan was arranging some of the folded pages that were disordered from her fall. Hearing Leng Ye’s voice, she couldn’t help but look up in surprise and call out to him. Then she smiled faintly, "It’s nothing much, don’t worry, big brother."
Leng Ye’s fist clenched almost imperceptibly, then relaxed.
Big brother... He hated this term greatly.
"Nuannuan, why are you here?" Looking at the hotel behind her, Leng Ye squinted in confusion.
Wen Nuan bit her lip, her nose sour with emotion again. She slightly raised her head, forcing back the tears threatening to spill, and smiled, "I just happened to pass by this road."
"Oh, I see." Leng Ye nodded. He knew she was lying. Earlier, from afar, he had seen someone walk out of the hotel, and just from the silhouette, he was sure it was her, which was why he had slowed down.
He really wanted to hear the truth, but since she wasn’t saying it, there must be a difficult reason for her. Seeing the design sketch drawn on the notebook in her hand, his eyes flickered with complex emotions, "From JOE?"
"Yes." Wen Nuan nodded, looking at him in surprise, "How did you know?"
As soon as she asked, she laughed a little embarrassedly, "I forgot, big brother knows JOE too."

Leng Ye almost blurted out but kept the words to himself in time. He gazed at her, "Are you going to the company? I happen to be going that way, I can give you a ride."

"No bleeding?" Ji Wei listened to the report over the phone doubtfully, the expression on her stunning face slightly distorted with confusion.

Without figuring this out, she was always uneasy.
Seeing Wen Nuan get into the car, Leng Ye turned his back to Wen Nuan and dialed a number, the smile on his face gradually fading, with a faint anger cloud shadowing his handsome face.
Seeing someone suddenly appear downstairs, Ji Wei’s hand gripping the curtain slightly trembled, and she squinted her eyes.
