Wen Nuan was stunned, standing at the doorway.
Leng Yan glanced back at her, visibly startled, his expression seemed a bit awkward as he softly said into the phone, "About Ji... her matters, there’s no need to tell me, big brother."
After speaking, he tossed the phone on the bed, looked at her casually, yet felt a little flustered inside, an indescribable feeling, just panic, afraid that she might find out about Ji Wei’s existence.
"Who got drunk?" Wen Nuan asked, puzzled.
"An employee, just happened to be encountered by my big brother." Leng Yan sighed in relief, "Have you made dinner? Let’s go, I’m just hungry."
"Okay." Wen Nuan nodded, but for some reason, she felt that the phone call just now wasn’t as he had said.
For his big brother to personally call him, it probably wasn’t an ordinary celebrity. But if he didn’t want to say, she wouldn’t ask.
"Young Master, try the chicken wings, they were made by Madam herself." Sister Ping served the dish, grinning as she spoke to Leng Yan.

Out of the corner of his eye, he looked at Wen Nuan, she seemed quite absent-minded, not even slightly happy from his compliment.
"What’s wrong?" he asked.
"Oh, it’s nothing. You really find it tasty, then eat more."
Wen Nuan said happily, but felt uneasy inside.
She suddenly remembered the call from Li Qiu earlier today. Li Qiu had never proactively called her before, yet today she spent a long time talking. She even said inexplicably, "As a wife, you should attend important occasions together, a man shouldn’t be too indulged."
She seemed to have heard him say that, was he referring to Ji Wei?
Wen Nuan’s heart suddenly panicked. Wealthy heirs and female celebrities always make for gossip and entertainment topics. Leng Yan isn’t just wealthy, he’s also a famously handsome young man in N City.
"No way." She tried hard to dismiss her thoughts, Leng Yan wouldn’t be like that, otherwise, at the signing ceremony, he could have kissed her unreservedly, instead of being so reluctant.

"Just saying, come, let’s drink." Leng Ye raised his glass, a faint smile on his lips.
Tong Xi has been here for a week already, eager to meet her friend’s husband to see if he’s truly good to Wen Nuan.
"You two wait at the set, I’ll come over after I’m done."
