Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades Chapter 516

Gragnokh, the World of the Iron Hell, was once a normal world.

The thing that made it different was the society that was absorbed with the notion of efficiency, work, and development.

Slowly, their society lost anything related to entertainment.

The people had only one thing in mind.

Work. Get more money. Increase your position in the society. Get better work. Get more money.

The cycle kept repeating.

People forgo everything else. Be it familial ties, or rest hours.

They went as far as cybernetically enhancing themselves so they could work more.

The world of Gragnokh and its people were judged as evil for infanticide.

The people create machines to replace them as the new generation. They had long since removed organs responsible for reproduction, which Tartarus judged as killing the children that could've been born.

Neo looked through the memories.

"Is it really infanticide if the children weren't even conceived? Tartarus labelled it as infanticide since they eliminated the possibility of children being born."

The more Neo saw the more he realized that there was no clear evil or good. Most things lied in the grey area.

He Erased the thoughts from his mind.

"Let's see, this world didn't have many Spells, or techniques, but they had extensive knowledge of machinery, and they had made advanced breakthroughs in artificially creating Metal Element-based organisms from all nine Metal Elements."

Neo reviewed the information.

He felt he might be able to create a new race with this information.

Just as he had finished his thoughts, the Darkness finished devouring Zone 6.

Orolith, the World of Chains, was a mountainous world of broken plateaus, connected by massive floating chains. Gravity was chaotic in there, and only chains provided stability.

Warden-King Drolmak ruled it.

He had the ability to enchant his chains, which allowed him to seal powers and memories. He could also manipulate gravity to control movement.

The Warden-King believed the world would fall apart without absolute control.

He enslaved minds and souls of people under the guise of protecting them from chaos. Even memories of resistance were erased.

In some ways, he was similar to Queen Azariel, the Protector of Zone 1.

He genuinely believed his actions were for the greater good.

"The path to hell is laid with good intentions."

Neo's mood had worsened.

He could handle the madness, but the emotions were a different matter.

"At least, I got this."

Glowing 'runes' floated above Neo's hands.

Runes were an advanced form of magic circles.

Normally, magic circles disappeared after their use. One would have to recreate a magic circle when they wanted to use a Spell the next time.

Runes, on the other hand, could be engraved on an object's surface, and they would never disappear. One needed to just pour energy into them to use them.

"Spell-Sealing Rune, and Memory-Sealing Rune. Both are Stage-3 rank."

Neo summoned his Chains of Hell.

He etched the Spell-Sealing Rune and the Memory-Sealing Rune on the chains. Since they were massive, it took him a few hours.

After he was done, he began to recreate Gragnokh and Orolith.

He used Shadow Core Concept.

Gragnokh took form first.

Towering machinery lines rose like ribs from the black soil. Pipes and gears wound through the earth, releasing cold white steam.

Massive industrial furnaces rested at the base of jagged cliffs. Roads of metal lattice stretched far and wide, glowing with veins of dim orange, like cooling magma.

Above Gragnokh's metal floor, sky kingdoms floated.

They hovered on large suspended islands, which were chained together with silver links.

Gravity shifted as needed, allowing people to walk calmly across upside-down bridges or along the sides of cliffs.

Each floating city had tall silver buildings shaped like narrow spires, arching over like the ribs of titans.

Chains from these cities extended downward, some linking to Gragnokh's factories, others looping into shadowy clouds.

Neo fused the worlds with the one already resting inside him.

People of Verdonia, Cindaros, and Trokota were left shocked.

Their breath was caught in their throat as massive landmasses were created before their eyes.

But their surprise only increased when the people of Gragnokh and Orolith were reborn into the new lands.

"What is happening?!"

"Something isn't supposed to be possible!"

People were thrown in confusion again. Chaos erupted.

Just then, the inhabitants of Verdonia, Cindaros, and Trokota heard a voice.

"…It's the work of a God."

Cindaros' words were quiet, but they resonated inside everyone's head.

"Not the Gods we knew. Not some person who had gained dominion over an element…

"Someone who can create and destroy as he wishes."

No one could see Cindaros, but they could feel her bowing.

Verdonia, and Trokota followed.

And slowly, the inhabitants of the three worlds followed.

Two emotions dominated everyone's mind. They had seen the people of Gragnokh and Orolith being reborn, and they understood how they themselves came to be.

Neo suddenly felt a stabbing pain inside his head.

He ignored it for the moment, and called out to Death Sword Firmament and Tyrant Firmament.

"Go tell Gragnokh and Orolith to calm down their people. Then, divide the new world into Sectors. The Consciousness of the previous Worlds will act as an Administrator for each Sector."

Why? asked Death Sword Firmament curiously.

"The population has increased explosively. We need to start laying basic foundation so the new world can function normally."

Do we really need the World Consciousnesses to act as Administrators? Us Firmaments can do it. We are far stronger than the World Consciousnesses so it's faster and better if we look over the Sectors.

"It's not always about strength." Neo shook his head, then explained patiently. "The Worlds know about their inhabitants more. They will have an easier time rearranging the society."

Death Sword Firmament nodded.

Honestly, Neo had other plans for the Firmaments.

The new world was only one World.

He planned to create more after he learned how to create Consciousness out of nothing.

Then, he would make the Firmaments the Overseers of all the Worlds. Their job would be to manage the Administrators.
