Gray said faintly as he grabbed Tina’s hand, which was reaching for Wendy.
"You’re Gray from Fairy Tail?" Tina asked a question she already knew the answer to.
There was no surprise on Tina’s face as she shifted her gaze to Gray.
"To have someone from the Demon God’s Soul remember my name, I must say, that’s quite an honor," Gray said with a slight smirk.
He tightened his grip and lifted Tina, throwing her toward the distance.
Tina flipped through the air, landing steadily on the ground.
She looked at Gray across from her and said, "Such a man with no gentlemanly manners," subtly expressing her displeasure.
"Gentlemanly manners? That kind of thing has nothing to do with me," Gray replied as a cold aura gathered in his hand.
"[Ice make : War Axe]!"
A massive ice axe instantly shot out from Gray’s hand, roaring through the air as it swung toward Tina.
Tina raised her arm, and a giant stone hand suddenly erupted from the ground beside her, blocking the massive ice axe’s attack like a loyal guardian.
"Boring," Tina murmured, then with a flick of her hand, the surrounding demons quickly gathered and charged toward Gray.
"As expected from the Demon God’s Soul, this kind of test is indeed meaningless to you," Gray said, his expression unphased by his attack being easily blocked.
Instead, he wore a look of "just as I thought."
"Gray, be careful. This person from the Demon God’s Soul has the ability to freely control life force. Here, her powers are fully amplified, making her much more troublesome," Wendy, who was behind Gray, warned.
"Yeah, I got it," Gray said as he tossed his tattered shirt aside, his tone casual.
"This girl is pretty impressive, but I’m not someone who can be easily dealt with."

Gray formed a hand seal, and several ice fountains erupted violently from the ground, striking the surrounding demons.
The freezing cold ice quickly encased several demons in an instant.
Looking at the demons frozen around him, Gray snapped his fingers lightly, his expression calm.
A slight crackling sound echoed as the frozen demons suddenly exploded into a shower of ice fragments, filling the air.
The shards drifted down gently with the breeze, forming a pure white blanket that floated gracefully.
"How beautiful," Wendy couldn’t help but exclaim, despite the circumstances.
"Looks like this isn’t an opponent that can be dealt with simply," Tina thought silently to herself, realizing the situation had become more troublesome.
As she spoke, her actions showed no mercy.
She twisted her body, one hand extended straight forward, the other bent backward.
As she moved, streams of transparent life energy surged from the nearby demons, converging in her hand.
Soon, a set of oddly-colored bow and arrows took shape in her hand.
"[Arrow of Life]."
Tina released her grip, and the shining life arrow shot forward like an unstoppable spear, filled with a chilling killing intent as it aimed at Gray.
"[Ice Shield]."
Gray’s expression turned serious.
A massive ice shield rose from the ground to block the arrow, but it was still not enough.
As the life arrow struck the ice shield, a crack appeared.
The crack spread rapidly like a virus, quickly consuming the entire shield, causing it to shatter.
"Such incredible power," Gray muttered, and his magic surged.
A thick ice wall appeared, successfully blocking Tina’s attack.
"A gap, exposed."
Tina’s voice sounded from above Gray.
He looked up and saw Tina’s right arm, radiating highly unstable life magic.
"Explosion."
Tina uttered a single word, and the agitated energy in her hand blasted toward Gray and Wendy.
The force of the explosion triggered a terrifying blast and tremor, with uncontrolled power rampaging, and the chaotic flow of magic destroyed everything in the surrounding area.
"Any ordinary mage would probably lose their life from that attack," Tina remarked, watching the smoke envelop the area.
After a brief pause, she continued, "But they’re not ordinary mages, so they definitely won’t be so easily dealt with." Tina concluded in her mind.
"That was a close one. If I had moved a little slower, I might have been taken out."
The moment Tina finished speaking, Gray’s voice came from the smoke.
The smoke quickly dissipated, and both Gray and Wendy reappeared in Tina’s line of sight.
They were surrounded by a spherical block of solid ice, which still bore the marks left by the explosion.
Despite taking a heavy hit, the ice sphere showed no signs of collapsing.
Gray sighed lightly, dissipating the solid ice.
His gaze was heavy as he looked at Tina across from him.
— Gray wasn’t joking.
If he hadn’t reacted quickly and created a strong defense just now, being hit directly by that explosive force would have definitely reduced any normal person to a pile of rubble, except for perhaps some *mages with very high strength.
