"Letting young people stray is a dereliction of duty for someone of my generation," Makarov sighed, taking a sip of his drink. He couldn’t stop his own son from descending into darkness, but perhaps he could correct the paths of others.
"Master, I’ve chosen one," Mystogan soon approached, holding a request.
Makarov glanced at it and nodded.
"Thank you, Master," Mystogan thanked him again and prepared to leave.
"Hey, Mystogan, join me for a drink," Finn offered Mystogan a glass, holding it out.
Mystogan’s mouth twitched at the glass of milk, then he smiled and accepted it.
"Cheers, let’s forget the unpleasantness," Finn raised his glass.
"Seriously, where’d you learn that? Everyone else drinks alcohol," Mystogan said, but he drank the milk.
"My apologies. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Finn," Mystogan placed the glass on the counter and left.
"At least undo your magic!" Makarov shouted.
"Five, four, three, two, one," Mystogan vanished as he finished the countdown.
The guild members woke up.
"Huh? I fell asleep?" Natsu said, confused.
"Natsu, get up! You’re crushing me!!" Happy cried out from underneath Natsu.
Natsu jumped up. "Sorry, Happy, haha."
A soft voice came from Mirajane beside Finn. Finn stared at her, eyes wide with disbelief.
"Did I just hear that? This violent girl has a cute side?" Finn was puzzled.
Mirajane sat up, confused, then saw Finn staring at her. Her face flushed.
"Wh...what are you looking at?" Mirajane stammered, quickly leaving to find Lisanna.
Makarov had a fond smile on his face, then noticed Finn staring at him.
"Master, your expression is strange," Finn said, never seeing Makarov like that before.
"Um, cough, nothing. I’m just happy about Mystogan," Makarov lied, shaking his head.
"Really?" Finn looked dubious, stroking his chin.
Makarov quickly composed himself.
"Master, what happened?" Levy asked. Everyone had been asleep.
"Don’t worry. It was Mystogan’s magic," Makarov said, holding his beer.
Gray grumbled, "That guy put us to sleep? Where is he?"
Finn sipped his milk. "Gray, Mystogan left."
"Don’t worry about it. He has reasons for hiding his face," Makarov said.
"Master, can we really trust someone who hides their face?" Macao asked.
"I’ve checked him out. Don’t worry."
Everyone trusted Makarov. Since he’d checked him, there was no problem.
Makarov raised his beer. "Let’s welcome our new member! Feast time!!"
"Feast! Feast!" Natsu cheered, spraying fire.
"He’s energetic," Lisanna smiled.
Happy, eating fish, said, "Aye! That’s Natsu."
A noisy welcome party began.
Outside, Mystogan watched the guild, smiling.
"They accepted me, even a masked me. Only Fairy Tail could do that," He looked at his mark.
"This is home. A great guild," Mystogan disappeared.
Inside, Natsu’s fire got on Gray...
"Fire-breath idiot! You want to die?!" Gray slapped at his hair. He treasured his hair after Finn had burned it off before.
He kicked over a table, roaring at Natsu.
"Huh? Underwear Commander, what’d you say?" Natsu retorted.
"Goggle-head, you forgot me beating you senseless?"
"Droopy-eye, didn’t I make you cry?"
They glared at each other.
"So childish..." Cana and Lisanna facepalmed.
A new day. Finn was asleep when his door was kicked open.
The noise woke him. He sat up, Ryūjin Jakka appearing.
"Mirajane, what are you doing? You scared me," Finn relaxed, putting away Ryūjin Jakka. It was 7:31 AM.
He wanted to go back to sleep. He didn’t have to work until 9.
But he sat up. "This is the men’s dorm. How did you get in?"
Mirajane smiled. "," She glowed, and another Finn appeared.
Finn facepalmed. He’d forgotten Mirajane’s Take Over Magic. But why only the head? Her clothes were still hers.
Seeing a woman with his face, Finn imagined people calling her a pervert.
Mirajane wasn’t wearing her usual wild clothes, but normal, feminine clothes.
My reputation is ruined, Finn thought.

Mirajane changed back, sat on Finn’s bed, and said, "Many people saw me. So?"
She looked at him innocently.
Finn felt his life was bleak.
"Nothing. Life’s meaningless," Finn said despairingly.
"Haha, I’m just kidding. I snuck in. I didn’t change into you," Mirajane laughed.
"Why are you here so early?" Finn asked, his hair messy.
"I said I wanted an S-class mission with you. And Master said so too. You can’t refuse," Mirajane said.
"Ugh, so troublesome," Finn remembered.
"You took Erza on S-class missions. Why not me?" Mirajane’s anger rose.
She glared at Finn. A demon seemed to appear behind her.
"Fine, I’ll take you," Finn conceded. He couldn’t sleep.
"But let me wake up first," Mirajane agreed.
"Shouldn’t you leave?" Finn was about to lie down, but Mirajane sat on the sofa.
"Why should I? What’s it to you?" Mirajane asked.
"I can’t sleep with you here!"
"Sleep or not, let’s go on a mission," Mirajane said impatiently.
Finn gave in. He’d slept late and been woken early.
He went to sleep. Mirajane played with his building blocks, her mind elsewhere. She glanced at Finn, then called softly, "Finn? Can you hear me?" Seeing no response, she smiled.
