After a night of storm and tempest, City S had finally turned cold, officially entering the harsh winter.
Yi Zheng’s investigation had just concluded, and just when he wanted to return to the company to start salvaging the situation, the police arrived at his office.
The deputy chief and Captain Lei, along with several others, arrived with a formidable presence.

Yi Zheng’s face changed dramatically, and Xiao Su by his side turned pale instantaneously.

"The deputy chief was also here; they couldn’t possibly have nothing."

That old man Fu Jue double-crossed him in the project, and Fu Yisi was investigating past affairs.

"Fu Yisi has been busy targeting me, neglecting other matters. If he makes my life difficult, I’ll make his difficult too. Make it neat, spare his life, just torture him a bit, and keep it from Yi Feng."
Xiao Su frowned.
If Yi Zheng was implicated, he couldn’t escape either.
