Everything happened within just ten minutes, and no nurse came to call them. Yet, Dr. Kim felt like he was sweating profusely.

“Wait for another ambulance?” Dr. Kim asked.
“Probably wouldn’t have made it in time. From Old Jiang’s tone, you could tell there were many more severely injured people on the scene,” Doctor Lin said, “And they said thirty minutes, but forty minutes to reach our hospital is already pretty good. Now, with it being winter, the roads are slippery and visibility is poor, which is why the car accident happened. Think about how long Old Jiang has been stuck in traffic.”

“In the back seat,” Zhao Zhaowei replied, calming down with his teacher’s guidance.
