Famous Among Top Surgeons in the 90s Chapter 191

Chapter 191: The Anomaly of the Younger Martial Sister

Just as she was about to try one herself, his fingers had already covered hers, and under his guidance, her fingers behaved like little puppets, moving only according to his movements.

One step after another.

Cao Yong smelled the scent of shampoo on her hair, and he strained himself to focus entirely on teaching her how to tie knots.

“This knot needs to be practiced slowly—” he said, but then realized that in the blink of an eye, he had already guided her through creating three knots, so he had to let go of her hand and scratched his head, wondering how to proceed with the teaching.

Turning around to look for his junior for help, he found that the junior had slipped away.

Huang Zhilei wasn’t stupid; he had figured out what was going on and saw no reason to stay and be the third wheel.

“How about you tie one and let me see if you do it right?” Cao Yong said, altering his tactic.

Senior Brother asked her to tie a knot to check her learning progress. Xie Wanying closed her eyes, replaying the scene of Senior Brother tying knots in her mind. Her hands followed the movements from her memory, starting to get the hang of it—strength flowed from her shoulder, to her arm, then to her wrist, and finally to the tips of her fingers, before coming back up to her wrist.

Standing next to her, Cao Yong was surprised to see her tying knots with her head tilted and eyes closed. When he examined the knots she made, he found no mistakes, and all of them were tied correctly in one go.

At the door, Huang Zhilei cracked it open a bit, peeking inside to see how his junior sister was doing. To his surprise, he saw her eyes closed as she tied knots: Had she become some kind of prodigy?!

She didn’t know how many knots she had created until someone suddenly gripped her wrist. Xie Wanying then opened her eyes.

Both Senior Brothers stared at her intensely.

Xie Wanying initially didn’t understand what was happening, but then she realized something serious might be at hand.

The two Senior Brothers, who were neurosurgeons, knew very well that closing one’s eyes could result in the loss of crucial visual information, leading to a loss of sense of direction and even balance. Yet there she was, without any special training like those who were blind, behaving as if there was no hindrance at all.

“Are you—” Huang Zhilei waved his hand in front of her eyes, afraid that she really had gone blind and couldn’t see.

Her performance had been so out of the ordinary that even neurosurgeons found it frightening.

Xie Wanying composed herself and said to Senior Brother Huang, “It’s fine.”

Meanwhile, Senior Cao’s gaze was even more terrifying, as though a CT machine wanted to scan her brain.

Xie Wanying swore never to do such a thing in front of her seniors again. To an ordinary person, her actions might just seem amazing, but to a doctor, anything out of the ordinary could be a sign of a serious problem.

“Let’s go, take a walk outside,” Cao Yong suggested, thinking it over—perhaps the indoor air was too stuffy, causing his junior sister to behave oddly.

She followed her two Senior Brothers out of the office and went to the wards.

Upon entering one of the wards, she saw someone removing stitches.

A resident doctor watched closely, so the person removing the stitches must have been an intern. Xie Wanying guessed it might be some kind of exit exam. The sight of them made the intern’s forehead break out in sweat at the sound of their footsteps.

The Vice Chief coming to see him remove stitches—what was this all about? Alarms sounded in the intern’s mind.

The two Senior Brothers who brought her made room for her to watch.

The intern glanced at her from the corner of his eye: What are you here for?

Xie Wanying returned the look: To learn from you.

Truth be told, she also wanted to leave, knowing that this added pressure to the examinee. But the problem was, Senior Brother wouldn’t let her go.
