Fantasy Family Simulator Chapter 72

Upon hearing Tyles' accusation, Tuck's body stiffened, and he nervously chuckled.

"Haha, I guess I was a bit too rough earlier, and I ended up tearing this tiger hide," Tuck said sheepishly, scratching his head. Then, with some frustration, he added, "Hmph, it must be because this knife is too sharp. A little extra force, and it ripped the folded tiger hide into three pieces."

Tyles picked up the tiger hides from the ground, one in each hand, glancing left and right before looking down at the edges of the hide that looked as though a dog had chewed on them. He sighed in frustration.

He didn't want such an ugly rug—it would spoil his mood when reading!

Though, if laid on the ground, it might still be somewhat usable...

"Alright..." Rhett chuckled as he patted Tyles' head. "If you're unhappy with the size of this tiger hide, we still have more hunting time ahead. I'll find you another magical beast with smooth fur."

Bending down, Rhett picked up a small piece of tiger hide and stroked his chin. "This small piece can be made into a cozy jacket for Dick. Trim the uneven edges, and... it will fit him perfectly."

"What do you think?" Rhett asked Tyles.

"Oh? Making an outfit for my nephew?" Tyles raised his eyebrows in surprise, then nodded slowly. "Why didn't I think of that? Sounds good to me!"

Then, turning to Tuck, he added with a huff, "Fine, I'll let it slide this time, for Dick's sake."

Tuck widened his eyes, unable to find the words. "Good grief, how did this turn into me owing my little brother when it was originally Father’s accomplishment?"

After a moment, Tuck shrugged it off with a smile, quickly stuffing the tiger hide into his bag. After all, Dick sleeping on this Frost Crystal Tiger hide would be a comforting thought.

With the tiger hide incident over, Rhett cleared his throat. "Ahem, there's something I need to tell you all."

...

After sharing the revised plan with his three sons, Rhett folded his arms behind his back, waiting for their response.

Tuck, Reilly, and Tyles exchanged glances and voiced no objections.

In the face of their father's authority, they unanimously expressed agreement and approval.

And so, over the next week, Rhett led them on a hunting spree on the outskirts of the Dark-Winged Eagle Ridge, slaughtering beasts left and right!

Every time they encountered Tier 1 or Tier 2 magical beasts, they easily crushed them.

A week later, in the evening...

Rhett channeled his mental energy, manipulating the earth element to uncover the buried ground.

Tuck eagerly dug out the burlap sacks hidden beneath the soil, one by one. "Hehe, Father, this hunt has been incredibly fruitful. I even feel like we've almost cleared out all the magical beasts in this area."

Tuck placed the sacks on the ground, and Reilly came over, giving them a satisfied pat with a smile.

Rhett looked at the six heavy burlap sacks on the ground, all filled to the brim with magic crystals and durable parts from magical beasts that could be used to craft equipment and various items.

They were worth at least hundreds of gold coins.

Rhett smiled faintly and shook his head. "This is still not enough. We've only been hunting on the western side of the Dark-Winged Eagle Ridge. In comparison to the entire mountain range, this forest is just a small part. Clearing it out entirely will take much more time."

"However, we’ve cleared out enough for now, which should delay the beast tide from erupting," Rhett thought to himself.

After all, in the last simulation, the beast tide was delayed until early next year, likely due to his current clearing efforts.

Glancing at his status screen, Rhett saw the number "217" under Fate Points, and his smile grew. Thanks to the upcoming beast tide, there were now plenty of magical beasts to hunt and harvest.

Otherwise, accumulating Fate Points so quickly wouldn't have been easy.

"With these Fate Points, whether I use 'Real Simulation' for training or 'Text Simulation' for future insights, I should have enough for a while," he thought contentedly.

Rhett reached out and scratched Whitefang's soft, furry chin as it nestled in Reilly's arms.

Roar

Whitefang tried to show displeasure, but in Rhett's eyes, it only made the little tiger look cutely fierce rather than intimidating.

Rhett chuckled and mischievously ruffled Whitefang's fluffy head with his large hand.

HowlHowl

Whitefang could do nothing but whimper in defeat, shrinking back into Reilly's arms, its small head hanging in resignation.

"Reilly, this Whitefang is already over half a meter long. Carrying it around every day doesn’t look very dignified," Rhett teased.

Reilly spread his hands, his expression slightly helpless.

At the same time, Whitefang was suddenly dropped to the ground. It rolled over, landed on its feet, let out a low growl, and shook its head and tail in mild displeasure.

Only Reilly could clearly sense Whitefang's message to him: "I want cuddles! Don’t leave me on the ground!"

"You see, Father, Whitefang doesn't act like a typical magical beast. It’s more like a little dog wearing a tiger's skin," Reilly remarked, looking down at Whitefang.

"Hahaha, that’s a fitting comparison!" Tuck laughed heartily with his hands on his hips. Poor Tyles, standing next to him, wasn't prepared for the noise and quickly covered his ears, grimacing as he moved aside.

"Oh no, Tuck, could you please try to stop yelling all the time? Or... at least be mindful of the people around you before you shout?" Tyles complained, rubbing his ears. "You wouldn’t want your little brother to go deaf, would you?"

"Hmm, being deaf might not be so bad. At least then, I wouldn't have to hear Tuck's shouting. Wouldn't you agree?" Reilly chimed in with a playful shrug.

Tyles looked at Reilly in shock, then his eyes twinkled mischievously as he came up with an idea.

"Well, then, why not make Tuck mute instead? That way, neither of us would have to listen to his shouting!" he suggested with a sly grin.

Rhett chuckled at the exchange.

"That's not a bad idea, of course... if you can manage it," Reilly replied with a smirk.

Tyles huffed in frustration, while Tuck, ever good-natured, stood there with his usual grin, swiftly changing the subject. "Father, it's getting late. Shall we head out now?"

Rhett nodded. "Yes, the sooner we leave, the sooner we'll return to Falcon Town."

Hearing that they were heading home, Tyles bounced in excitement!
