Now that issue no longer required consideration, the manor, infused with Undead Divinity, had already contained all negative energy internally, becoming self-sufficient.
The second was the convenience of transportation, as that spot was where water and land transport intersected, and there might be a need to build a large port there in the future.
But whether it was the port or the roads, both were still in need of repair.
How to proceed in the future would still be decided by Gaven and his team.
To avoid the two major drawbacks of town construction as mentioned by Chester, the additional two kilometers were a minor issue.
Gaven thought for a moment and said, "You’ll take some people to survey the precise depth of the rock layer and whether its material is suitable for construction. If it is, build one or two levels of basements using the excavated rocks as building stone."
Basements were the most important component of all construction in Felen; buildings without basements were abnormal, including ordinary residential homes, which would invariably have one or two basements.

Especially when facing hunters who were lacking in intelligence.
Gnolls were best at digging holes and mining stone, so it was only natural to take this skill to the extreme.
