Back at the village entrance, he tied the cow back to the stake in the cow shed and glanced at the trough. Seeing that there was water in the trough, Xue Yan walked out of the cow shed with relief.

A carriage was coming.
Horses had never come to this village before, so the people around were curious and kept looking at the carriage.
Xue Yan immediately saw the coachman driving the carriage. It was the coachman of his classmate, Shen Yuxuan’s family. Today was also the day of rest at Shengming Academy, so Xue Yan put two and two together. He said to Jiang Yue, “That should be Yuxuan.”
