Then, they both laughed again.
Immediately after, Chunmei turned to Xue Yan and Jiang Yue and said with a smile, “I was wrong. There are also white flowers here, but I don’t know how you guys dug up the ones that only have white flowers.”
The village chief’s wife immediately laughed. “They were digging everywhere. It’s not like you didn’t see it.”
“Yes, yes.” Chunmei’s eyes smiled. “Alright, I’m heading back. I still need to make dinner. With that, she carried her hoe and left.
“Me too.” The village chief’s wife carried her small load of firewood.
“Xue Yan, Jiang Yue, you guys should go back quickly. The sun is going to set soon.” Chunmei’s eyes smiled.
“Got it,” Jiang Yue and Xue Xiao said, “We’ll go back after taking a look at our plants.”
“Alright,” she said. Chunmei responded and left with the village chief’s wife.
Chunmei didn’t like to tell people about this, but the village chief’s wife liked it. Jiang Yue and Xue Yan didn’t even need to think that many people in the village would know about this.
This was good too. When the fruit was different from the common raspberry plants, people would subconsciously think that the fruit from the raspberry plants with yellow flowers was the common one, and the fruit from the strawberry plants with white flowers was something they had never seen before. Moreover, the surface of the fruit was very similar to the surface of the raspberry. Even if the size and shape were different, people would only think that it was another type of raspberry instead of a strawberry.
