443 Grinding Teeth

“Then go and sit under the shade of the tree in front,” Xue Sifu said. “It’s cooler there, don’t sit under this stall anymore, it’s too hot here. This shaded place was fifty steps away from their stall.
There were no trees on this street, but there was one past the wall. It was a medium-sized tree with a lot of branches protruding from the wall, casting a mottled shade.

The young man saw that his booth was taken by the lady, and realized that the lady’s business was doing well. The young man immediately became angry and wanted to go towards the lady, but after taking two steps, he turned around and went to the other side of the street.
Jiang Yue and Xue Yan didn’t need to guess what would happen next, they both knew that this young man was going to pay the rent money first. He wanted to argue with the lady, but he was still too timid to really make trouble, for fear that he would not be able to come to this town to set up a stall in the future. Therefore, the young man just gave the lady a hard look, and then angrily stomped away.
“He probably won’t come back again.”
Jiang Yue and Xue Yan knew it well, but they didn’t care.
After a while, Wufu came back in a carriage with the popsicles made at home. Their expressions changed a little and they stood up.
“Wufu.” Both of them shouted in a moderate voice.
