Jasmine Yale lowers her head and continues gnawing on her pork ribs.
“Jasmine, do you have someone you like?” Xara suddenly asked curiously, “Or, what type of person do you like? I’m really curious.”
“What kind do you think I like?” Jasmine Yale asked back, smiling.
“Um… someone similar to you, a cheerful, young guy, right? Likes playing basketball and looks particularly good while laughing under the sun.”
Jasmine Yale nodded in agreement: “I indeed really like that kind of boys, I would play basketball with him.”
“You can play basketball?”
“Haha, me too, shall we have a match on campus someday? I’ll invite my boyfriend. It’s been half a year since graduation, I really want to visit the school.”
“You can too? Why didn’t you say earlier, we could go together cause I’ve been bored at home over the weekend.” Jasmine Yale excitedly responded.
“Well, now that you know, it’s not too late, let’s make plans this weekend and go to Landon University?”
“Alright, do you have a basketball?”
“My boyfriend does! No worries.”
Jasmine Yale starts to become joyful.
Back in high school, she loved playing basketball, even better than the boys.
However, sometimes some boys were really poor sports, they would argue with her when they lost, accusing her of not following the rules.
She refused to be at a disadvantage, and would roll up her sleeves to reason with those boys.
Feels… really distant now.
But, that period of time was indeed exceptionally joyful.
Carefree. Even arguing with boys seemed quite fun.

While having her lunch, Jasmine Yale suddenly felt her heart beating strongly, thumping violently.

Jasmine Yale snapped back to reality, shaking her head: “I don’t know, just felt a sudden sense of panic.”
“Did you not get good sleep? Or were you too tired from work this morning? You should get some rest in your office, I have snacks there. When you wake up, eat some snacks and you’ll be alright.” Xara hurried to sit by her side.
Upon touching, Jasmine Yale’s hand felt icy cold.
“Um…” Jasmine Yale hastily ran off.
Her first reaction was that something had happened to Little Chale!
She didn’t know where this feeling came from, but it was extremely intense.
She didn’t have her phone with her, hurriedly walking from the canteen to the office.
