“Sylvan Cheney, someone as heartless as you will never find happiness in life!” Lana Fern cried out accusingly, “How can you be … Isn’t it possible to take my sister’s remains home? How can you… Is it so wrong to want to see Chris? You’re too ruthless; you will suffer retribution!”

“Just a fever, and it’s that serious?” Sylvan furrowed his brow.
“Mr. Cheney, it’s because Miss Yale’s will to live is so weak. After the fever, she’s been in a state of exhaustion. She doesn’t really want to wake up.”
“It’s not particularly serious, but if we want to wait for Miss Yale to wake up, we’ll probably need at least another twenty-four hours of observation.”
