The car was halfway through its journey when the little guy threw away the cat in his hand and climbed onto the seat to look out the window.
Such an out-of-the-way place, where is this?
Which hospital is Jasy in?
Why are we getting on the freeway?
“Aunt Lilac, which hospital are we going to?” Chale Cheney asked.
His two little hands clung to the window, his round eyes unblinkingly watching the outside.
“Once we get off the freeway, we’ll be there.” Lilac Serval was not familiar with Landon.
“I want to call Dad.”
Lilac Serval felt somewhat helpless, she really wasn’t good at handling emotional issues.
Mr. Cheney had said not to let Chale call him, and if necessary, to give the little guy sleeping pills so he would sleep all the way to Lonton.

This road seemed similar to the one going to the airport; he remembered that roadside sign!

“Aunt Lilac, I’ve been on this road before, it’s to the airport. Is the hospital close to the airport?” Chale Cheney suddenly asked.
A pang hit Lilac Serval in her chest.
“Yes, very close,” she said, feeling somewhat overwhelmed.
“Aunt Lilac, you’re lying!” Chale Cheney puffed up his cheeks and pouted, “There’s no hospital near the airport! I’ve been there! There’s no hospital!”
“Liar, liar, I want to get off! I want to get off!”
Chale Cheney, scared, began pounding on the window, his little fists hitting the glass.
“How can you lie, Aunt Lilac? You’re Uncle Mcintosh’s good friend, how can you lie…” he became sadder as he spoke, his eyes reddening around the edges.

Lilac Serval weakly hugged Chale Cheney to stop him from pounding on the window.
