Yue Tingfeng was very well-behaved for the past few days as he did not bother Yan Qingsi at all.

Every single day, Yan Qingsi was awakened by his body weight.
On all those occasions that she got up, his morning breath was so overpowering that she kicked him away every single time.
Jolted awake by the kicks, Yue Tingfeng would open his eyes and stare at Yan Qingsi in a daze. Most of the time he would pull her back and, say, “Sleep!”

That night, everything wrapped up at nine. It was slightly earlier than the previous two days, and since she was rushing to get back home and sleep, she changed her clothes and washed away her makeup as fast as she could.
A few of the actresses were huddled together in the makeup room. They were speaking secretively and stealing glances at Yan Qingsi.
Seeing that she was about to leave, one of them finally opened up and asked, “Qingsi. Why have I been told that people saw a man coming and going from your room? You can’t be…secretly keeping a man, right?”
“Yeah, exactly, we’re all sisters here.”

That one reply made the others speechless.

Yan Qingsi replied slowly, “I’ve got no problem letting you meet him, but if you’re brave enough, why not introduce your men to me? That’s what you call real guts.”
Once again, her reply stunned the other actresses into silence. Truthfully speaking, none of them dared to do exactly that.
From a woman’s perspective, Yan Qingsi was not a good person. She bore a remarkable semblance to a fox-spirit and all the men within the production crew indulged her, one after the other.
Eventually, one of the actresses could not resist saying, “You’re really confident, aren’t you? As if you’re the only woman in the world with the charm. Are you so sure that your man will still be yours if you really bring him here?”
Yan Qingsi cocked a brow and mocked them. “My man is picky. It just so happens that I suit his tastes. He won’t be attracted to any of you.”
Two knocks on the door interrupted the rising tension within the makeup room.
Everyone turned to see a man standing in the doorway. He was dressed in full casual and was wearing a pair of sunglasses. Although they could not see his entire face, his nose, lips, and chin were all so exquisitely refined. Standing there, even the darkness of the night failed to dim the radiance emanating from him.
He looked at Yan Qingsi. “Can we go now?”
The makeup room fell silent, and everyone’s attention was directed onto him.
Yan Qingsi got up. “The filming’s not done yet. You should go back first.”
Yue Tingfeng answered, “I’ll wait here for you.”
She cast him a sidelong glance. “I suppose you heard everything I said earlier?”
A rather suggestive smile was present on his face. “I heard you. It’s just…”
Yan Qingsi raised her eyebrow. “Why? Don’t you like it?”
The corner of Yue Tingfeng’s lips curled up. “Whoever said so? I’m really picky, but it so happens that you suit my taste.”
