Ye Shaoguang looked at Yue Tingfeng. “Do you want to oppose me, Tingfeng?”
Through the thin rain and mist, the two men stared at each other. Their eyes exuded a cold that cut deep into their bones, but the expressions on their faces were light.
The umbrella in Yue Tingfeng’s hand was completely held over Yan Qingsi’s head. The left half of his body was not covered and rainwater fell on him, but he seemed not to know.
Yue Tingfeng’s voice was clear and cold. “We’ve never been on the same side.”

Yan Qingsi looked at Ye Shaoguang coldly, speaking slowly. “Looks like you really don’t know what Yan Songnan told me that day.”
Ye Shaoguang narrowed his eyes.
Yan Qingsi pulled Yue Tingfeng’s arm and said, “Let’s go. I feel assured seeing that he’s dead too. After all, if it had been me, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. I have to thank Mr. Ye for this. If my mother knew, she’d thank you too.”
Ye Shaoguang watched Yue Tingfeng leaving while holding Yan Qingsi’s shoulders with a cold gaze.
He really could not tell whether Yan Qingsi’s words were true to her heart or not. Yan Songnan’s death was a good thing for her?
Ye Lingzhi said to Ye Shaoguang, “Shaoguang, look at that b*tch being so arrogant. Why don’t you hurry up and clean her up?”
Ye Shaoguang scorned, “Clean her up? And go to war with the Yue family?”

When they got in the car, Yan Qingsi said, “Go somewhere with me.”
Yue Tingfeng answered, “Okay!”
They drove for half an hour and came to a cemetery in the outskirts of the city.
Yan Qingsi wanted to get out of the car but was stopped by Yue Tingfeng. He took off his jacket and draped it on Yan Qingsi. “It’s cold outside. Use this to cover yourself from the rain.”
Yan Qingsi’s heart felt warm. “What about you?”
Yue Tingfeng pinched her face. “I’m a man. I’m tall and strong. You touched me for so long last night and you still don’t know?”
Yue Tingfeng pushed the car door open. He opened the umbrella first, then got out of the car and walked around it to the passenger seat, opening the door for Yan Qingsi and helped her out.
The rain seemed to have gotten heavier. The pitter-patter of the rain that fell on the umbrella resounded above their heads.
Yue Tingfeng extended a hand and pulled the clothes on Yan Qingsi tighter. He opened the rear seat car door and picked up the baby’s breath on the seat, putting them into Yan Qingsi’s hands.
After walking on a rugged path made out of bluestones, Yan Qingsi stopped.
Yue Tingfeng read the name on the gravestone——Nie Qiuping.
There was a framed photo on it. It was an old black and white photograph, frozen at around 20 years of age. She smiled in the photo, gentle like water, shockingly similar to Yan Qingsi.
Yue Tingfeng suddenly felt inexplicably nervous, the hand holding Yan Qingsi tightening.
