Mrs.Yue smiled and said. “Thank you so much Qingsi, if it wasn’t for you, I would’ve been broken long ago.”
If Yan Qingsi had not been there during her most vulnerable and weakest moments, if she had not appeared in her life, given her the support she needed, Mrs.Yue would have never had the courage to recall and faced all the sins and misfortune Yue Pengcheng had committed on her all those years ago.

Yan Qingsi kicked off her shoes and proceeded to curl up in the blankets while leaning on Mrs.Yue’s shoulders. She asked. “Do you love Yue Pengcheng, aunty?”
Upon hearing her question, Mrs.Yue’s expression instantly turned sour as she replied. “Why would I love a b*stard like him? If I did, I would’ve suicided long ago. This man disgusts me. He’s filthy to the damn core.”
“That’s right, since you never loved him, then there’s no point feeling sad right? A person like him doesn’t deserve your time or your feelings.” Yan Qingsi said as she looked up with a smile.
Yan Qingsi wanted to cheer Mrs.Yue up. Apparently, she loved the optimistic, naive and innocent little old lady.
“No one understood Yue Pengcheng and Ding Fu as much as you do. They’re both a living joke, you know that better than anyone else. They had the audacity to return and cash in on remnants of repressed feelings, if they could not how their back then, now wouldn’t have much of a difference anyway right?” Yan Qingsi said to Mrs.Yue.
Yue Pengcheng’s father still thought about his son quite often back then. However, there was never much he could do to change anything.
Yue Pengcheng’s father had been dead for centuries now, there was no one left on Earth who could help him. At this point, who else can he depend on than his father’s dead spirit?
“To put things bluntly, who does Yue Pengcheng think he is? Yue family doesn’t belong to him? What exactly does he have? Money? Or was it power? Every penny he has now, is donated by the Yue family anyway. If the Yue family never supported him the way they so generously did, he would’ve been left penniless and broke way before he could blink.” Yan Qingsi explained while she pushed her hands out.
“Aunty, you have to know that your son has grown up, he has the ability to protect you now. You wouldn’t even need to lift a finger and Yue Tingfeng would’ve taken care of them for you. Just think about it, nothing is more poetic than to have Yue Pengcheng’s own son to crush him. All you need to do is just sit back and watch. How do you think you’ll feel then? Wouldn’t you be happy?” Yan Qingsi elaborated.
“I think… perhaps… a little…” Mrs.Yue replied as she pondered about it.
“Your only weakness is your naivety. The way things progressed till this day, was never your fault. The fault had always been that adulterous couple. They’ve brought you so much pain. It’s only fitting to have your retribution now more than ever. The tides had changed since. You are now on a much higher ground, you’re the empress of the entire Yue family, no one in the entirety of Luo city doesn’t know your reputation. You hold the biggest power in the entire Yue’s family. Tell me, what real harm can they do but to hurl a couple harmless insults your way?” Yan Qingsi added.
Mrs.Yue gently shook her head, as the current situation was much different compared to back then.
The Yue family’s empire belongs only to her son. Her son’s words had the most weight in the entire family.
Yan Qingsi noticed Mrs.Yue looked much better compared to earlier. She continued and said. “There’s no need for you to pay any attention to that pair of b*tches. Be kind to only to those who deserves kindness. To that b*stard, return the favor by being as vile and wicked as that person is.”
Mrs.Yue frowned and replied. “But…evil to this extent?”
“I’ll tell something about my past. You see, I was a vile and evil person ever since I was a child. I am vengeful to the core. I will hunt down every soul that had wronged me to the ends of the Earth and back. I remembered every detail of the sins they had committed against me in my heart.
