Mrs. Yue did not understand what Yue Tingfeng meant by that. She simply thought, ‘My son said it best, my son said it perfectly, my son is correct.’
She was a fiercely loyal person whose impression of someone would improve once she deemed that the person was a good person. Their flaws would cease to be flaws in her eyes, and the person would be regarded highly that no one could say a single bad thing about them.
An example would be how Mrs. Yue looked at Yue Tingfeng. Save for his looks and wealth, Mrs. Yue felt that there was not a single good point about him.
Nevertheless, Mrs. Yue was the only person who could criticize him. No one else was allowed to do the same, and if they did, they would invoke her anger.
It was the same with Yan Qingsi. Be it the flaws or strengths, she was the young girl that Mrs. Yue liked and the potential daughter-in-law that Mrs. Yue acknowledged. The old Su couple looked at each other. A profound sense of worry could be seen in their eyes.

Angered by that, Grandmother Su said, “What is so different? In the end, she’s still…”
She stopped herself from finishing that sentence. The thing she wanted to say was, ‘She’s still an actress.’
Those of the older generation, like Grandma Su, did not hold actresses in high regard. In fact, they even looked down on actresses. Their first impression would always be, ‘With so many different jobs available, why is there a necessity for one to become an actress?’
Actresses were always improper, to some extent.
That was the prejudice they had against Yan Qingsi, and in reality, feeling antipathic towards her was a natural reaction given all the rumors.
Yue Tingfeng chatted amicably with Mrs. Yue, but deep down, he was sad and worried.
He was hoping, of course, that the elderly Su couple would take a liking to Yan Qingsi, believing that there was no reason for them not to like her.
