Chapter 698: Listen Closely, That Woman Is Not My Girlfriend
Aside from what had already been said, Ji Mianmian could not think about what else was there left to say. She truly felt that there was no word left in the dictionary that could describe someone as shameless as Ye Shaoguang!
“Is the word shame… even in your collective vocabulary? You have my respect, b*stard Ye.” Ji Mianmian told Ye Shaoguang.
Hearing her statement, Ye Shaoguang winked and replied with an evil grin, “Well said…”
“Well… said, indeed… well… said…” Ye Shaoguang added.
Without any warning, Ji Mianmian impulsively lifted her leg as she was getting ready for an extremely powerful kick. She was seemingly exerting every ounce of strength her body could muster while she aimed at Ye Shaoguang’s crotch. Judging from the strength of that very kick alone, if it had landed, Ye Shaoguang would have lost the ability to ever reproduce.
Fortunately for Ye Shaoguang, he had complete knowledge and understanding of every trick in Ji Mianmian’s book; and with a simple sidestep, he had dodged that very deadly kick.
However, since that dodge was not done perfectly, Ye Shaoguang lost his balance and tipped over to the side.
Completely aware of his impending fall, Ye Shaoguang grabbed onto Ji Mianmian’s arm, pulling her with him as they fell. However, at that very instant as they fell onto the ground, Ye Shaoguang had somehow flipped over and had his entire body on top of Ji Mianmian which cushioned his fall.
Ji Mianmian struggled in that uncomfortable position and said, “Get off me, just get the hell off me… or else, I’ll mess you up!”
Pushing against her body as he held onto both her arms stopping her from struggling any further, he said, “Ji Mianmian, my purpose of showing up today was to discuss important business with you. You be completely honest now, or else I will…”
Ji Mianmian pouted and replied, “Or else you’ll do what?”
“I’ll… kiss you, exactly as you’ve said before; kiss first, talk later.” Ye Shaoguang explained.
With a disgraced look on her face, Ji Mianmian said, “You… b*stard, how disloyal and scummy of a person are you to be capable of thinking about a polyamorous relationship even after having a girlfriend. It’s only a matter of time before you face retribution. I’ll tell you now, I’ll tear b*stards like you apart for each one that comes my way. You better hope I never get that chance or else, I… will make sure I rob you of your manhood.”
As she made that warning clear, she was suddenly kissed again as she felt something soft had landed directly on her lips. She said, “Ye Shaoguang, you b*stard. Are you driven mad by kissing?”
Ye Shaoguang twitched his eyebrows a little and said, “If you wanted me to kiss you, just tell me earlier then. Are you jealous knowing that I have a girlfriend?”
His bold statement made Ji Mianmian roll her eyes in response. She promptly replied, “Hahaha… that way too hilarious. Ye Shaoguang, not only are you extraordinarily shameless, you are… forget it, I feel like I can no longer come up with anything more insulting to describe you. You win by being painfully shameless.”
Ye Shaoguang proceeded to take a deep breath to calm himself as his patience toward Ji Mianmian was fleeting.
Ye Shaoguang had decided to jump into the real business as soon as he possibly could or else, he would have been driven mad by Ji Mianmian.
“Ji Mianmian… I have two things to tell you about my purpose here today.” Ye Shaoguang said.
“First things first, I need you to listen closely to everything I will tell you in a moment and you’ll need to keep in mind that I… do not have a girlfriend nor do I have a fiance. The lady you guys saw earlier today was only a blind date. She already has a boyfriend, the only problem was her family’s disagreement with her boyfriend’s familial background. I, on the other hand, have the same goal in mind. I wanted nothing more than to avoid this arranged marriage, so we had both discussed this matter and decided to put on a show. Understand this, both of us were not even normal friends alright?” explained Ye Shaoguang.
Ye Shaoguang was puzzled to his apparent decision on coming over to explain the whole situation to Ji Mianmian.
He felt that his mind had been affected by the fever and it was not natural for him to have done nothing more than a time-waster on impulse.
However… he wished not to cause any more misunderstandings with Ji Mianmian.
Ji Mianmian was stunned for quite a long moment before letting out a monotone syllable saying, “Oh.”
Ye Shaoguang gritted his teeth and exclaimed, “That’s all you had to say?”
“What else then?” Ji Mianmian replied.
Furious by the lack of a reaction, Ye Shaoguang was breathing extremely heavily. He said, “I’ve told you I do not have a girlfriend and there’s zero relationship with that woman.”
Ji Mianmian simply blinked her eyes repeatedly and replied, “Oh, then what does that have to do with me then? What exactly to does both of you having zero relationships with each other have to do with me now?”
