The nurse’s hand suddenly clung onto nothing but air. She turned around, shocked. Her handphone was in You Yi’s grip.

You Yi’s peach blossom eyes looked as though they were about to combust into flames. He glared at the handphone. “What is this woman called?”
“Yan – Yan Qingsi… She’s one of the hottest actresses as of late.”

After ten minutes, Ye Shaoguang returned.
Yan Qingsi was silent throughout the entire drive back. She thought about Mrs. You’s words. That was the only necklace around she mentioned. Did she not know anything, or were the two necklaces truly not connected to each other?
Then there was You Xi’s second uncle, You Yi. Why did he go nuts when he saw just her eyes?
Yan Qingsi stroked her face. If she was to identify someone who resembled her, that would be… her mother!

“Yan Qingsi, you go down first,” Ye Shaoguang said suddenly after they arrived at the hotel. “I want to talk to Ji Mianmian.”
Ji Mianmian bent her body, ready to alight. At his words, she barked in surprise, “Talk about what? What do we have to talk about?”
Ye Shaoguang did not answer her. “I won’t do anything to her,” he told Yan Qingsi. “I just want to talk to her for a while.”
“What if I don’t agree to this?”
“Then you too don’t go down. I’ll say everything in front of you. I’ll remind you that Yue Tingfeng is back though.”
Yan Qingsi did not get the chance to be angry before Ji Mianmian exploded. “You shameless prick… Sis, go down first. I’ll catch up with you once I’ve finished throttling him.”
Ye Shaoguang laughed. “See? Do you think I can do anything to her?”
Yan Qingsi narrowed her eyes. “All right. I’ll go down first. You only have 15 minutes. No more than that.”

Ye Shaoguang agreed without any hesitation. Only then did Yan Qingsi pat Ji Mianmian’s hand and exit the car.
She entered the hotel and pushed the door into her room. Yue Tingfeng was packing up.
He turned around and saw Yan Qingsi. He smiled. “You’re back,” he said.
Yan Qingsi’s heart throbbed with pain. She nodded her head. “You… What time did you come back? You’re early.”
Yue Tingfeng walked toward her and ruffled her hair. “It’s not early. It’s almost one. Are you hungry?”
“I’m okay.”
“Good. I’m done packing up. Go and check if I’ve missed anything, then we can leave for the airport.”
Yan Qingsi grabbed Yue Tingfeng’s hand. “You… Aren’t you going to ask where I’ve been?” he asked.
Yue Tingfeng grinned. He rapped on her forehead once. “What can I ask? I know you’ve been up to no good. It’s all right as long as you’re back. However, please ask me to give you some aftercare when you go about murdering people and committing arson.”
Warmth bubbled in Yan Qingsi. A smile lit up her face. “Actually…” she said, “I didn’t do anything bad…”
Yue Tingfeng took her in his arms. “Come on. We should eat…”
He knew when Yan Qingsi had left the hotel. He even knew that she was riding in Ye Shaoguang’s car. However, he trusted Yan Qingsi.
He knew her temperament, her character.
She did not promise anything easily, but once she gave a promise, she would keep it.
Yue Tingfeng pulled Yan Qingsi out. “You didn’t ask me what I was up to either.”
