Yue Tingfeng had thought of letting everyone know that he was Yan Qingsi’s boyfriend. That would be good cause they did not have to hide anything then. He could assert his claim, chase away all those who had their eyes on her.
However, after listening to her on the way back, Yue Tingfeng thought that it was better to go along with what Yan Qingsi wanted.
Whatever she wanted, he would concede to it.
If she was not comfortable with making their relationship public, then he would allow his face to be blurred forever.
His life was not lived to be observed by everyone, anyway.
If this brought peace to Yan Qingsi’s mind, he would willingly go with it.
This was not a big deal.
Yue Tingfeng did not bother with Jiang Lai and immediately hung up on him. He paced around his room. Then he lay down on his bed, tossing and turning.
This was not like the time in the hospital, where he could steal Yan Qingsi back. Tonight he could only be sleepless on his own.
Yue Tingfeng was so bored that he opened his Weibo and browsed through Yan Qingsi’s account page. He scrolled through every comment about their significant other.
As he kept scrolling, he saw people posting hate comments directed toward Yan Qingsi. He downloaded the Weibo app and registered an account with a username, “Yan Qingsi’s Husbando”. He only followed her. After he liked and commented on every one of her Weibo posts, he replied to the hate comments. This went well into the night.
He released a sigh once he felt sleepy. He could finally sleep and get some rest. He reminded himself to steal back his woman tomorrow.

Without a huge workload, Yan Qingsi had plenty of time to spare. She accompanied Mrs. Yue out shopping, buying groceries and doing facials. Her life rolled by breezily, slowly. She woke up early and even jogged for an hour in the mornings, and she would play mahjong in the house at night.
She passed her days leisurely. Instead, it was Yue Tingfeng who worked from nine to five.
These were the days that Yan Qingsi wished for the most, the ones she desired the most.
She had them now. She did not know how long this would last, so she treasured every day.
Only Yan Qingsi knew that she had unfinished business and hence she could not completely relax.
After resting at home for five days, Yan Qingsi was going to leave the house. “Auntie, I’m going for a magazine cover shoot,” she told Mrs. Yue. “I probably won’t be back for lunch. You have a good lunch at home. Yue Tingfeng says that he’ll bring us out to eat at night.”
“All right. Don’t worry about me. Remember to apply sunblock before you leave and don’t forget your sunglasses and hat…”
Yan Qingsi nodded her head. With the Prada bag that Mrs.Yue gave slung over her shoulder, she headed out.
Xiao Xu and Ji Mianmian had already arrived. They were waiting outside. Once they all got in the car, they went straight toward the shoot’s location.
It was nice, shooting for a magazine cover. Once she finished her makeup, she only needed to change three times, struck a few poses and she was done. It was far easier than a shoot for dramas.
They were done before noon.
They got onto the car. “Let’s go,” Yan Qingsi told Xiao Xu “I’ve made an appointment with someone. Let’s not be too late.”
Once they arrived at the meeting place, Yan Qingsi wanted the two to wait for her in the car. Ji Mianmian and Xiao Xu did not agree though. Ever since the kidnapping incident, they were apprehensive about leaving her alone and letting their guard down.
Yan Qingsi, impatient to argue, allowed them to go in, but she did not let them in the private room.
She pushed the door open into the private room. She walked toward the person seated inside.
Ye Lingzhi could not disguise the hatred in her eyes when she saw Yan Qingsi, but she was far calmer than when they met the last two times. “What do you want?” she asked icily.
