Although the process had fallen short of her expectation, Zhao Youlin got back what she had wanted. She even managed to gain a verbal advantage before leaving. After settling the issue, Zhao Youlin planned to go home straight. After all, she was worried about leaving Joy all alone in the house as he was still only a child.

Zhao Youlin was not very close with the woman. She used to hear about her from Mu Chen occasionally and was aware of her presence in the police force.

As Zhao Youlin was in a daze, Lu Shu abruptly cried out in shock. She had walked very fast in a pair of high heels and accidentally sprained her ankle.
Originally, Li Yan was walking in front of her with his mind wandering somewhere about. He was immediately snapped out of a daze when he heard the scream. He turned his head and saw Lu Shu fell on the floor.
“Brother Yan,” Lu Shu sat on the floor and called out to Li Yan pitifully with a gentle and longing look.

Lu Shu was overjoyed. When Li Yan helped her to get up from the floor, she moved her right leg slightly sideways and climbed all over Li Yan.
