Lu Jing and Mrs. Qin wandered around outside for nearly an hour before they each headed home.
Just before parting, the two made plans for next time.
"Xiao Lu, let’s hang out together tomorrow, too."
"Okay, then I’ll head back first. I’ve got a little troublemaker at home."
Taking care of kids is much more exhausting than looking after adults!
Anyway, it always takes up so much time every night.
Mingming would start getting ready around eight or nine o’clock, but by the time they got to bed, it would still be eleven or twelve.
Luckily, after doing it day in and day out, they’d gotten used to it.
Every family with children was pretty much in the same boat, no exceptions.
On this side, Lu Jing had just opened the door when he was met with the man’s face right in front of him.
"What are you doing? You going out?" he asked.
Having that face pop up out of nowhere was startling indeed.
And he even made room for someone to pass through.
But, the man didn’t move.
After changing his shoes, Lu Jing looked up and asked,
"Aren’t you going out?"

That tone, it was really annoying.
"Then what else do you want to do?"
Lu Jing couldn’t help rolling his eyes as he moved past the man and walked in.
There was a glass of water already chilled on the table; he picked it up and started drinking.
Jiang Ye followed leisurely:
"Do you want more?" he asked.
Lu Jing shook his head:
He had already downed most of the glass; it was enough.
Any more and his stomach would be bursting.
Lu Jing always felt that something was off about this man, and on top of that, he gave off a particularly dangerous vibe.
"I’m going to take a shower," he declared.
He wanted to run away.
However, how could the man not know what the woman was thinking?
He grabbed her in a single move:
"Why the rush? Shower later!"
Lu Jing didn’t even have time to react; he found himself lifted off the ground.
"Hey, what are you doing? Put me down!"
"Yelling won’t help, I’ve been holding back for so long!"
Obviously, there was no escaping tonight.
Lu Jing knew this well, and didn’t bother struggling anymore; if there was no escaping, might as well enjoy it.
But really, not showering was unacceptable.
He had just been out and was sweating quite a bit.
He kept slapping the man’s arm several times:
"Let me shower first, okay?" His tone slightly pleading.
Suddenly acting so soft and cute, the man couldn’t refuse:
The word was out before his brain even processed it.
He had endured for so long, a bit longer wouldn’t make a difference.
Jiang Ye gently put the person in his arms down:
"Don’t dilly-dally, got it?" He didn’t forget to issue a special reminder.
Who knew how long this woman would take in there?
Jiang Ye didn’t want to wait that long; it was better to get what he wanted sooner rather than later!
Isn’t there a saying that men think with their lower half?
Lu Jing didn’t even want to respond. He took out a set of his usual, decent pajamas from the wardrobe and readied to head to the bathroom.
But then, he was stopped by the man:
Just as Lu Jing was puzzled, he watched the man effortlessly pull out from the top cabinet the paper bag they stuffed in the afternoon, then select the most favored nightgown from inside:
Lu Jing looked at the sheerest and most transparent ’nightgown’ dangling from the man’s hand and lost his composure.
Whoever changes into it is a fool!
