Lu Jing really couldn’t stand the man’s overreaction:
"I said I was injured, did I? Where on earth did you get that conclusion?"
Faced with the woman’s aggressive approach, Jiang Ye leaned back quite a bit:
"Wife, calm down, take it easy."
Lu Jing snorted twice but didn’t continue.
The man straightened his back:
"If you’re not injured, why are you using this?"

It seemed unnecessary to hide it anyway, and besides, having someone help with the medicine was naturally better.

"Okay, okay, don’t be overly nervous, am I going to hit you?"
Lu Jing then eased a bit:
"So what are you really trying to say?" she asked.

"What am I trying to say? What do you think I’m trying to say? Wife, do you even consider me your husband?"
