Xavier went to the nexus tower to take Lyra with him, but the apartment was empty.
He called Lilia, and she told him that she and Lyra had gone out because Lyra wanted to see the city.
Xavier asked for their location and told them to stay there.
A few minutes later, he got there and scolded Lilia for taking Lyra out without informing him.
He then told them he was going on a short mission and he needed to take Lyra with him. Lyra, of course, was excited and immediately hopped onto the bike.
"When will you be back?" Lilia seemed sad, but she didn’t say anything, nor stopped him.
"It’s a 200 kilometer ride, so three and three... six hours just for travelling. Let’s say seven since we might have to stop once in a while. And then another two hours to find the fragment. So... if everything goes right, we will be back in ten to twelve hours. Around midnight."
Xavier truly didn’t know if they would encounter a problem or if things would go smoothly. He was taking Lyra with them, who was considered from a noble race.
The problem was the fragment.
Bull had only mentioned the location, so they now had to find it. If Bull had given it to someone from the beast land, then he would have to take it back from them.
Lilia clicked her lips and muttered, "I want you back before morning. And give me a ride, too. I didn’t even know you bought a bike, and only learned of it when you told me this morning."
"Yikes." Xavier couldn’t help but chuckle. "I won’t only give you a ride, but I will let you drive it too. Happy?"
"Lyra wants to drive too!" Lyra raised her hand. "Lyra knows how to drive a spaceship too!"

After bidding farewell, Xavier left with Lyra for the beast land.
He filled the gas using the rebate points and joined the highway.
On the way, he plugged his earphones and called Angel, who responded immediately.
"Hey, is Oliver still there?"
[Yes. He said he doesn’t have anything to do at home, so he will spend the day here with us. Don’t worry about him. I will make sure he reaches home safely.] Angel reassured.
"Thank you for that. By the way, what are you doing?"
[I am trying to open the other boxes. It will take a while, so I don’t know. It could take weeks, to months, to even years. But I set up an automated task so it doesn’t matter. Why do you ask?]
"Well, you see, as I said, my initial plan was something else, which changed after I met a benefactor in the prison."

"It’s more like an issue. Maximilian has a recording of Bull’s revelation. Although I had deleted the recording, I purposely put it in the bin so that Maximillian can recover it later. And then he would take the recording to Dominic and show it to him. Dominic would then go to the black market and try to find the box.
My plan was to get the box, get the location, then add a fake location and put the box back into the shop. Dominic would then go to the fake location, where I would give him the best surprise of his life. But what I didn’t realize is that the black market is a virtual world. We can’t put the box back there.
It’s not a serious issue since Maximilian was always my first target, but I just feel... unaccomplished. I wanted to end him with a bang, so the other three could know what’s coming for them."
[Hmm. You misunderstand, Xavier. Black market does physically exist, but it’s not on the earth. It’s a dimension where stores and employees exist, but everyone else you see there are just the virtual avatars. To go there, we have to find the warp gate that randomly appears on every planet.
And finding them is difficult. They change location every hour. Suppose the warp gate appears in Astraeus city and someone enters, but when they come out, they would be in a different country. That is how physical items are stored in the black market.

After a pause, she asked, [What’s the location you want to add?]
"The hotel next to the Niras Museum. Room number 52."
[Okay, it will be done in a few hours. Anything else?]
"No. I will let her know to be there tonight."
After that, he hung up the call and increased the speed.
When Xavier had decided that he would kill Lucas and the other three, he had already begun to devise his plan. He had researched them and their family members with Angel’s help. And he chose Maximillian as his first target.
While doing that, he found an interesting detail. Maximilian’s mother— Dominic’s wife— worked as manager of Niras Museum. But to ease her loneliness, she sometimes accepted clients in the hotel right next to the museum.
Xavier contacted her with Angel’s help and told her everything. He promised her that nothing would happen to Maximillian if she accepted his terms.
Of course, his promise was empty and she was going to lose everything soon.
