Chapter 737: Chapter 724: Ultra-Luxurious Dinner
Through the window, Tina noticed Yue Feng was operating a drone and talking on his phone about something unknowable, which was when she had come out of the house. Hearing her name being mentioned by Yue Feng just a moment ago, she boldly walked over.
“What are you doing? A video call?”
Tina’s English was passable, at least Yue Feng could understand what she meant.
Yue Feng showed her the screen on his phone, pointed at the drone, and said, “Hi Tina, I am live streaming to my friends back in China right now! Why don’t you say hello to everyone?”
“You could think of it as a multi-person real-time online video chat!”
“Hello, friends in China, how are you, I’m Tina!” Tina waved at the drone, a small smile lifting the corners of her mouth, revealing her bright white teeth.
She had only waved and said hello, but that had entirely driven the live chat wild.
“Holy shit! She’s smiling at me! She actually smiled at me, I’m overwhelmed, she’s so beautiful!”
“She’s too beautiful! I can’t take it! Absolutely angelic!”
“May I ask if the lady has a lover? That smile just now, I feel like I’m in love!”
“Damn, head over heels in love, just from that look, I’ve already thought of what to name our children!”
Seeing that the viewers were getting a bit too much, Yue Feng couldn’t help but remind them, “Calm down, everyone, remember to be respectful, or I might end the stream!”
Tina looked at him sidelong: “What are they saying?”
Yue Feng: “They’re all saying how beautiful you are!”
“Yes! I am an outdoor streamer on an online platform, and from my professional perspective, you could definitely try becoming a streamer yourself! You could sing, dance or even just chat, and you’d likely earn a good income!” Yue Feng said.
“Really? But there’s no network signal at the camp, not even mobile phone reception! I’m curious, how is your equipment connected to the internet?” Tina was pleased to hear this, but then she frowned slightly.
Yue Feng pointed to the sky: “I use satellite internet, which works anywhere in the world! It costs about 10 RMB per minute!”
“Six thousand rubles an hour? That’s too expensive, I can’t afford it!” After hearing Yue Feng’s rate, Tina shook her head, completely losing interest due to the steep cost.
Yue Feng wasn’t bluffing with his pricing; indeed, there were satellite internet options available domestically, costing about six hundred RMB, which was not cheap. However, Yue Feng felt earning back this money would be easy, as the donations from each of his fans during his streams should be more than sufficient.
However, since it was just a first meeting for the two of them, it wasn’t likely any deeper relationship would develop. Yue Feng didn’t press further and just nodded, moving on from the subject.
After chitchatting for a few more minutes, Tina said goodbye and returned to her room.
For the rest of his time, Yue Feng took his live streaming friends around the camp. Finding there wasn’t much else to see, he ended the stream.
With the equipment, Yue Feng returned to the house and immediately saw Doll making the bed in his room.
“Doll? What’s going on? Are you planning to sleep in my room?” Yue Feng’s eyes lit up when he saw this.
Without looking up, Doll said with a hint of jealousy, “I’m keeping an eye on you, to keep you from cheating! Humph, I saw everything just now, you were trying to chat up that Tina while streaming live, you seemed to be quite enjoying yourselves! Fengfeng, I think you’ve picked up some bad habits!”
“Uh, you misunderstood, I was just showing the stream viewers around the camp and happened to be recording some material!” Yue Feng hurried to explain upon hearing Doll’s sour tone, afraid that she might get angry.
“Hmph, I don’t care, I still need to keep an eye on you! I’m staying in your room for the next few days!” Doll pouted, neatly spreading out the bedsheets.
“Well, that’s great, I am, hehe…” Yue Feng started grinning mischievously.
“Hmph, the way you lose all self-control around foreign beauties, don’t even think about it! I’d yell if you dare to make a move on me!” Doll stated righteously.
“Alright!” Yue Feng nodded sulkily, deciding not to dwell on the matter.
He had never realized before that Doll could be so jealous, but ever since they met Lawrence’s daughter in the United States, Doll seemed to have changed, especially after encountering Tina, she became even more nervous and impulsively decided to stay in the same room as Yue Feng.
As a straightforward man, how could Yue Feng perfectly handle such a tricky situation? He might be thick-skinned with strangers, but he was completely out of tricks when it came to Doll.
After staying a while longer in the house, the roar of a heavy off-road vehicle soon sounded at the entrance of the camp, and quickly, another vehicle, the same model as Ivan’s, drove back into the camp with two people getting out.
One was a man who looked a bit like Ivan, but slightly older.
The other was a fairly well-built woman, dressed for the outdoors and looking very capable.
Introduced by Captain Victor, these were his eldest son, Vania, and his daughter-in-law, Anna.
They were already married and had a child, and Captain Victor’s wife stayed back home to take care of things. The couple had come all the way from their place in Soviet Port to bring some stored game to treat Yue Feng and Doll as honored guests.
Before anyone realized it, it had grown dark outside, and Tina and Anna went to the camp kitchen to prepare dinner. By the time the sky was completely dark, dinner was ready.
Even though Yue Feng was prepared, the abundance of the dinner still exceeded his expectations.
Items like cheese and sausages were just the basics on the table, but what truly impressed Yue Feng were the bear paws and venison that Vania had brought.
They say you can’t have both fish and bear’s paws, but in this remote camp, Yue Feng had the chance to taste wild delicacies he would hardly get to try back in China.
Black caviar, steamed bear paw, venison cooked with unknown spices, and luscious silver trout, these delicacies, hardly affordable even with money in China, were all sampled in his first meal at the camp. These were not listed on any price list; they were purely a kind gesture from Captain Victor and his family.
Besides the exotic ingredients, Yue Feng also witnessed the bold drinking spirit of the Russian men; each of the three men, including himself, had a 750ml bottle of vodka, and the meal started with a fury of toasts. They had hardly finished eating when most of the vodka was gone.
Luckily, Yue Feng was prepared. He claimed his stomach was upset when it was his turn to drink and managed with juice instead.
The liter and a half of vodka would have been hard to handle, and it might have been difficult to wake up on time the next day.
After eating and drinking his fill, it was already past 8:30 pm. Yue Feng took a hot shower and went back to his room early, as a bigger challenge awaited him the next day.
