"Who are you?" Ruan Pianran raised her eyes and looked at the handsome face of the man. Her usually cool face showed a faint hint of confusion.
"I’m the driver sent by the bilingual school to pick you up. You can call me Ke." Ke said with a smile, his small eyes squinting into two narrow slits, looking cute and pure, immediately making Ruan Pianran feel a good impression of him.
His smile was clean, making people feel comfortable like a spring breeze. Unconsciously, Ruan Pianran was infected by his smile, and a faint smile appeared on her face that had no expression. She politely said, "Then please wait for me here for twenty minutes. I’ll pack my things and come down right away."
"Okay," Ke said with a bright smile, "Call me before you come down, and I’ll help you carry your luggage."
"No need, it’s hot. You can wait in the car. I don’t have much stuff, I can handle it myself." Ruan Pianran said gently, unusually not keeping a cold face.
Suddenly, Ke seemed to see flowers blooming on Ruan Pianran’s face. Her beautiful face was extremely stunning. But no matter how beautiful the face is, it’s just a short-lived visual impact. What truly touched Ke internally was her thoughtfulness and kindness. "Ruanruan, you’re really a good person," Ke said with a slight emotion.

Ruan Pianran pulled the corner of her mouth into a smile, thinking, this kid is too simple! If he encountered a bad person, he’d definitely be the type who got tricked and still helped the person count money.
"Thirsty? Do you want to come up and sit for a while?" Ruan Pianran casually invited.
"Sure." Ke nodded happily, following Ruan Pianran towards the stairs while saying emotionally, "I’ve been a driver for so long, Ruanruan, you’re the first person willing to invite me for a drink."
Upon hearing this, Ruan Pianran couldn’t help but feel curious, "How long have you been working?"
"A... A few years, I guess. I can’t remember exactly how long." Ke scratched his head, smiling foolishly and looking a bit embarrassed.

"Ruanruan, which floor do you live on?" Following Ruan Pianran up the stairs, Ke was puzzled. Seeing she was almost walking to the top floor, he couldn’t help but ask.

"Ruanruan?" Seeing Ruan Pianran lost in thought and not responding, Ke couldn’t help but call out again.
"Ah?" Ruan Pianran snapped out of her daze, a hint of confusion flashing on her face.
"Which floor do you live on? We’re almost at the top." As he spoke, Ke reached out to point to the green iron door leading to the rooftop at the top of the stairs.
Suddenly, Ruan Pianran halted her steps, slightly stunned, then calmly said, "I live on the fourth floor, we’ve gone too far."
"Oh."
Ke responded softly, looking at Ruan Pianran with eyes full of wonder, thinking, is her reaction normal? Such a calm attitude, as if walking a few extra steps is the most ordinary thing.
But Ruan Pianran wasn’t the type who liked to explain everything clearly. She turned and walked downstairs on her own. Watching her silent back, Ke silently sighed and then resignedly followed her down.
The dormitory building had seven floors in total. With the up and down, they’d walked eleven floors. Fortunately, going down was relatively easy, and neither of them felt tired.
"Ruanruan, do you really like Barbie dolls?" As soon as he entered Ruan Pianran’s dormitory, Ke immediately turned into a curious baby. Without sitting down, he was attracted by the Barbie dolls on the table. "A... anything is fine." Ke snapped out of Ruan Pianran’s gentle voice, realizing he had lost his composure. He quickly turned his face away, his face heating up, even stuttering when he spoke.
"I don’t have ’anything’ here." Ruan Pianran noticed Ke’s shy reaction but used a casual tone to avoid adding to his embarrassment.
"Then plain water."
After speaking, Ke intentionally shifted his focus, his gaze fell again on the Barbie dolls in wedding dresses. Soon, he was surprised to discover that the intricate dresses were not made of the usual thin gauze, but tissue paper - a common item rarely used for making clothes!
"Ruanruan, did you make these wedding dresses?" Ke turned around, looking at Ruan Pianran walking over with a cup of water, his eyes filled with visible admiration and curiosity.
"Yes." Ruan Pianran gently nodded and then calmly handed the cup to Ke.
After taking the cup, Ke drank two sips, unconsciously his eyes were drawn to the delicate wedding dresses again. Admiring them carefully, the more he looked, the more he admired Ruan Pianran, feeling that the wedding dresses she made were truly masterpieces of art!
"No wonder my brother wanted to bring her to Jin City, it’s because she’s special this time."
"Ke, what are you saying? Are you talking to me?" Ruan Pianran was packing her luggage and vaguely heard Ke’s voice. But the voice was too small, she didn’t hear clearly, so she continued her work while asking casually.
