"Look at this house, you’ve ruined it!" Chen Wenyu’s complaints only fueled Song Guotao’s anger, making him raise his voice even more with every sentence.
"I will clean up later; stop yelling, you’ll scare the baby." Over time, Chen Wenyu had gotten used to Song Guotao’s temper and was no longer afraid of him. Her indifferent attitude infuriated Song Guotao even more, sometimes making him want to slap her.

"No!" Song Guotao’s response was firm and resolute. "I’ll say it again: I don’t want this child. So, you must get rid of it as soon as possible!"

No money, no job, so you start longing for Mi Wan? Start feeling sorry for her? Too bad, it’s too late now. She’s with someone much better than you, a rich and handsome man. If you think you can go back to her, forget it! You’re not that successful man anymore..."

Every word that came out of Chen Wenyu’s mouth pierced Song Guotao’s heart like needles. Her words not only uncovered his wounds but also shattered his dignity. Enraged, Song Guotao raised his hand and slapped Chen Wenyu, silencing her instantly!
Feeling the pain, Chen Wenyu instinctively covered her face with her hand and lowered her head, sobbing sorrowfully.
"Stop crying!" Song Guotao’s anger hadn’t dissipated. Hearing Chen Wenyu’s sobs, he felt no guilt or pity. Annoyed and agitated, he wished she would disappear from his sight immediately.
"Song Guotao, you’re a beast!" Chen Wenyu, both furious and heartbroken, glared at him with tearful, resentful eyes, her heart overflowing with hatred.
