Chapter 821: Only the habit of holding hands with me
When Bai Xiaoxiao heard this, she immediately widened her eyes in shock and, after a second, quickly responded, “Okay.”
Bai Xiaoxiao grabbed her car keys and walked towards the car parked outside the gate, while Wen Ran immediately followed. On the other side, the phone rang twice, and Gu Kai’s warm and pleasant voice came through, “Hello, Ranran.”

I didn’t know the baby would come early. You’ve had a hard time.”
Wen Ran and Bai Xiaoxiao exchanged a glance, then quietly left the room. As they closed the door, Wen Ran saw Chen Bin kissing Li Qian’s forehead. Her lips curved into a slight smile; Li Qian was truly happy.
“Sister Li is really fortunate,” Bai Xiaoxiao remarked sentimentally, thinking about another expectant mother’s family they had seen at the hospital, which made her feel disheartened. In comparison, Li Qian was indeed fortunate.
Wen Ran also remembered that scene, nodded, and said quietly, “Compared to that man who went home to sleep until his child was born, Big Brother Chen is really good to Sister Li.”
“That woman is really pitiful,” Bai Xiaoxiao sighed. “If it were me, I’d divorce him right after coming out of the delivery room. What a man.”

Wen Ran’s eyes flickered, and she lowered her eyelids without speaking.

“Why don’t you go?” Wen Ran looked up and glared at her. Bai Xiaoxiao raised an eyebrow, “I really am considering it. If I don’t meet someone I like, I might as well have girl and boy twins to keep me company.”
Bai Xiaoxiao fantasized about that happy scenario and giggled foolishly again.
Wen Ran also laughed, “You think it’s that easy, don’t you? Girl and boy twins aren’t just something you can decide on. I’m not particularly insistent on that; I just want to have one boy and one girl, where the boy is the elder brother and the girl is the younger sister…”
“Ranran, the man to have babies with you is here.”
Bai Xiaoxiao winked at Wen Ran, who turned her head to see Mo Xiuchen and Gu Kai coming out of the elevator, catching his eye just as Mo Xiuchen smiled.
Seeing Wen Ran, Mo Xiuchen’s mood became incredibly joyous, and his deep eyes also gleamed with a smiling charm so intoxicating that one could lose their soul with just one look.
“How did you get here?”

“Oh, I came to see Gu Kai. He said you were here, so I came over to check on you,” Mo Xiuchen said casually, pausing before asking, “Ranran, have you had dinner yet?”

Seeing Bai Xiaoxiao leaving, Gu Kai also found an excuse to leave, “Ranran, Mo Xiuchen, you guys go and eat. I still need to make rounds. Mo Xiuchen, take Ranran home later.”
Mo Xiuchen was pleased with his tact.
Wen Ran watched as one by one, they all left. She pouted sulkily, yet Mo Xiuchen caught her hand. His deep, magnetic voice reached her ears, “Ranran, what do you want to eat?”
Wen Ran avoided his intense gaze and pursed her lips, “Anything.”
“Anything?” Mo Xiuchen chuckled lightly, his eyes filled with indulgence as he gazed at her, “Alright, I’ll take you to eat ‘anything.’
After saying this, his lips curved up into a broad smile, looking extremely pleased as he pulled Wen Ran along with him.
Wen Ran glared at him, “Mo Xiuchen, let go. I can walk by myself.”
Mo Xiuchen stopped, his gaze sweeping over their clasped hands. He looked at her and said, “Ranran, if you’re not comfortable, pretend I’m not me, think of me as someone else.”
Wen Ran widened her eyes in astonishment, “I’m not used to holding hands with other men.”
As soon as she said it, she wished she could bite off her tongue. Wasn’t this implicitly telling him that she was only used to holding hands with him?
Mo Xiuchen laughed out joyfully, his expression full of triumph as if he had outsmarted her, “Ranran, I know you’re only used to holding hands with me, so stop struggling.”
Wen Ran was angry, calling out his full name. Hadn’t he said he wouldn’t pressure her?
“Holding hands is nothing,” Mo Xiuchen said and paused, then suddenly leaned in slightly, his rich masculine scent enfolding her ear, “As long as it’s not a kiss or more… it doesn’t go against your principles.”
