The moment Maxwell Peary heard the door open and saw it was Nia, the ice in his eyes instantly melted, replaced by a silent, doting affection.
"Mrs. Peary, pleased with what you’re seeing?"
Maxwell Peary deliberately paused while dressing, standing there bare-chested.
Nia Mitchell awkwardly averted her gaze, lifting the coffee cup to her lips to hide her nervousness.

"If you keep looking down, you’ll dunk your head in the coffee cup. Besides, if you’re drinking this coffee, what am I supposed to have?"
Nia Mitchell winced. She had assumed he wasn’t in the office, which was why she’d drunk the coffee.
Not only had she barged into his waiting room and seen him naked, but she’d also drunk the coffee he had specifically requested!
"Well... I can make another cup for you, if you’re going to be so petty."

"Um... CEO Peary, you manage countless affairs daily. This coffee has gotten a bit cold. It’s best if I get you a fresh cup."
She offered a professional smile; how could she have forgotten she’d already drunk from this cup?
Surely the great CEO would mind drinking after someone else?
"No need to trouble yourself."
Maxwell Peary refused and made to drink again, but Nia Mitchell clung tightly to the coffee cup.
