By the time she arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau, she saw from afar a tall, distinguished man standing at the entrance.
He wore a black suit and white shirt, ordinary professional attire.
But his exceptionally handsome appearance made it far from mundane.
Ye Yuning recognized him instantly as the man who had entered the wrong room that night and had seen her completely.
The man recognized Ye Yuning too, and when he saw her riding a shared bike, his expression imperceptibly stiffened.
Ye Yuning, carrying a small bag, stepped forward, oblivious to the man’s unusual behavior, and politely extended her hand, "Hello, I’m Ye Yuning."
"Xiao Linye."
The man cordially shook her hand.

She felt that since he was the person listed in the spouse column on her documents, regardless of whether they were going to build a life together or not, she should at least get to know him.
Xiao Linye didn’t make it difficult for her. He hummed in response and then asked, "Shall I pick you up in the evening?"
"Okay, I’ll send you the location from the company."

Xiao Linye coldly stubbed out his cigarette, stuffed the two marriage certificates into his pocket, and got into the car.
As Lai Shuo caught a glimpse of the red marriage booklets, he froze completely.

His expression serious, he nodded. "Yes, all the cooperating parties have received the notifications."
