Yara Reagan looked at Iris Lockwood.
Iris Lockwood spoke coldly, "Evelyn and I are on the same household registration, and I have the right to file a lawsuit. If it really comes to that—"
James Grant suddenly laughed softly, interrupting Iris Lockwood.
"Why not ask Evelyn if you should file the lawsuit? I’m giving you both the chance to see her. If she’s willing, you can sue me all you want."
Cold mockery flashed through Yara Reagan’s eyes.
"Director Grant, who said we can only sue you for unlawful detention? If I remember correctly, Harvestide Holdings was recently embroiled in a lawsuit due to a shareholder embezzling funds. And Gene Young, he’s a police officer. If this escalates to assaulting a police officer, it won’t be easy either."
