Owen Sherman cleared his throat softly, "Actually, sometimes a little bit of venting can help a lot."
"Thank you." Evelyn Clayton readily agreed, "I’m not feeling bad. I just don’t feel anything."
No pain, no joy, just exhaustion.
The kind of exhaustion that seems to seep from her bones, making every pore scream in weariness, wanting to collapse into bed and never wake up again.
Evelyn Clayton slowly relayed this feeling to Owen Sherman.
Owen Sherman’s eyes paused momentarily.
"Did you have any hobbies in the past?" Owen clumsily changed the topic, "Reading, watching movies, watching shows? Or something else, a hobby that can divert your attention and make you fully concentrate?"
Evelyn thought about it, her lips curled slightly, "Not really, I spent a long period just busy making money."
Owen remembered some of the news and hot topics about Evelyn Clayton he had seen online before.
"What about painting?" Owen had an idea, "Do you like painting? I remember you were a famous designer before."
Evelyn was slightly taken aback.
Indeed, she hadn’t picked up a brush in a long time.
She was previously too busy with Gem to find time; during the period recuperating at the Sinclair Family’s home, she often felt easily fatigued, doing nothing every day but still feeling exhausted, let alone picking up a brush to paint.
Now reminded by Owen, Evelyn felt a rare stir of interest.
"Then, could you please get me some oil paints, canvases, boards, and brushes?" Evelyn smiled lightly, "Is that okay?"
Owen seemed somewhat uplifted.
It appeared she was truly interested.
Being willing to take the initiative to do something suggested Evelyn’s mental state hadn’t deteriorated to the point of needing heavy medication support.
"Of course!" Owen replied with a gracious smile, "Director Grant told me before he left that I would temporarily assume the caretaker position here, so you can come to me if you need anything."
Evelyn thanked him with a smile.

"Here’s the medicine I prescribed for you. I noticed you didn’t really like the previous sleeping medicine, and this can be an alternative."
Evelyn took it and looked it over, saying, "What is this for?"
Owen hesitated for a moment but finally said, "It’s an antidepressant, and the specifics, I won’t go into detail. Rest assured, the side effects of this medication are very minimal and won’t harm your body."
"Alright, I understand." Evelyn nodded lightly, "Anyway, thank you."
Watching Owen leave, Evelyn was about to take out her phone to check whether pregnant women can take antidepressants, but she recalled what James Grant had said when he gave her the phone, and she halted her actions.

Evelyn put the medicine bottle away in the wardrobe room.
In front of the wardrobe, she looked at the medicine bottle placed deep inside, lowering her eyes to her abdomen.
