Silas Sinclair wore a calm expression, "What else can you do? Let’s see how they develop."
Pauline Warren widened her eyes, "You mean if they’re mutually attracted—"
"Wouldn’t that be perfect?" Silas Sinclair chuckled, "You like Evelyn so much, now you can rightfully keep her close to you."
This really tempted Pauline Warren, and she hesitated, "But we initially took Evelyn as our adopted daughter. If this gets out, it might not sound good?"
"Evelyn changed her name to become our adopted daughter when she was an adult. Strictly speaking, we aren’t her foster parents, just like how Yara Reagan is a godmother to Sharon." Silas Sinclair coaxed gently, "If Shane liked Yara, wouldn’t they be able to be together too?"
"Besides," Silas Sinclair said confidently, "we haven’t publicly announced Evelyn’s identity, who knows what her relationship with our family is anyway?"
