Floating Island - Triple S Talent Chapter 171

After discussing the general situation, Lein paused for a moment before finally saying, "Nita will explain the specific situation and current conditions."

Nita nodded and began explaining, her voice calm yet firm. "Up to now, the alien creatures emerging from the portal have been attacking in random patterns, but the intensity of the attacks is increasing. The defense arrays and lightning towers are still holding, but we have noted an increase in the number of enemies with greater power—including some that seem to have Tier-3 Star Beast cores."

"The situation for the human alliance is quite concerning; almost hundreds of small and medium alliances have been destroyed. The top 10 human alliances are fighting the alien race directly."

Nita presented all the data available on her tablet. "The alien race attacking is very diverse, ranging from Power Cores of Cultivator, Faithwarden, Star Beast, Beast Master, and even Player."

"So far, the highest known power is Tier-3," Nita confirmed, emphasizing the strength level of the alien race.

The faces around the table reflected deepening concern.

Laras, always quick to think, raised her hand and spoke firmly, "We can't just keep defending. If we don't find a way to stop them all, humanity will fall."

Haikal Emanuel, a wise yet strong old man, nodded slowly. "Laras is right. We must send aid and help other alliances survive."

Dion, sitting at the other end of the table, added, "But the question is, do we help for free?"

Lein nodded as he heard these inputs, his eyes calm amidst the urgent situation.

"You are all correct. In fact, many alliances have already asked for our help. But I don't want to assist them for free," Lein explained to the ten core members of the alliance.

"I've given them the condition that they must hand over 25% of their alliance shares and choose me as the ruler of the divine sky realm," Lein said enthusiastically. His ultimate goal was to become the ruler of the divine sky realm, allowing him to set the rules as he pleased, striving to improve the quality of life for the human race on Earth.

Old man Haikal Emanuel pondered deeply as he heard the terms proposed by Lein. Though they seemed reasonable on the surface, his mind was troubled by the percentage offered. To him, 25% was too small, especially given Lein's current power and influence. Even if Lein demanded 50%, many alliances would likely agree without much question.

Meanwhile, the other core members of the alliance also contemplated Lein's terms, which required approval from the major alliances to cooperate. They all understood the importance of electing the ruler of the Divine Sky Realm, as Lein had explained before. According to the established rules, the leader of that realm must be chosen by the people of the Divine Sky Realm through a majority vote.

"I agree with the terms you've given, Brother Lein," said the old man Takulani, nodding his head with conviction. "Imposing too much on the other alliances will only stifle their development." Takulani, known for his patriotism, cared deeply about the welfare and growth of smaller alliances.

"Yes, I agree as well..."

A woman with a radiant aura and shoulder-length hair added her agreement. This woman was Hana, a core member who had long worked on building the trade network for the Alians World Market Trade. Her extensive experience had taken her to nearly every human alliance in the Divine Sky Realm.

Because of this duty, Hana understood very well the situation and conditions of the human rulers, especially the smaller alliances with limited wealth and resources. Adding too much burden would only worsen their situation.

Almost everyone in the room had expressed their approval, except for two people: Laras and Haikal Emanuel. The two figures stared at each other in silence.

Haikal looked at Laras as if waiting for her to speak first. However, Laras, known for being quiet and calculated, simply returned the gaze without saying a word. The heavy silence filled the room, as if a great decision was hanging in the air.

Haikal Emanuel let out a long sigh and said, "I'm sorry, Young Master Lein, but I cannot agree to the 25%. In my opinion, it would be better if the number were 75%."

Everyone was shocked, especially Lein. Haikal continued calmly, "If all resources were managed by you, Young Master Lein, the management of the realm would be far more efficient. The other alliances are too fragmented. Relying on each of them to contribute small amounts will only hinder our progress.

It would be disastrous if you were to govern the Divine Sky Realm but had to constantly supply resources from your own."

Lein looked at Haikal in silence, pondering his words. But before he could respond, Laras's cold and calm voice cut through, "I also disagree with this division."

Laras surveyed the room with certainty before adding, "Why should there be any more divisions between alliances? We've reached a point where all of humanity should unite. I believe the Divine Sky Realm should be governed as an empire, with you, Brother Lein, as the emperor. The other major alliances could become kingdoms supporting you.

This way, we could consolidate our strength without any boundaries or sectoral egos."

The atmosphere in the meeting room grew tense. The core members who had previously agreed to the 25% division now began to reconsider after hearing Haikal and Laras's reasoning. Slowly, they exchanged glances, nodding in silent agreement.

Lein, though surprised by their statements, understood their point. Haikal and Laras were the strongest after him, and it was natural that they wanted something larger to support the future of humanity.

Lein sat quietly, deep in thought. He hadn't expected Laras and Haikal to have such ruthless ideas. To him, 25% was already quite substantial; in fact, he had initially considered proposing 10%.

"Am I being too kind? Hmm," Lein thought to himself. He remained silent for a while, contemplating Laras and Haikal's suggestions.

From Lein's perspective, Laras's proposal was the hardest for the human rulers to accept. Changing the percentage from 25% to 75% might still be debatable and negotiable.

However, if they had to directly submit under Lein's rule as subordinates, the freedom they had enjoyed, like being presidents or alliance leaders on Earth, would vanish. This would likely provoke resistance, as humans fundamentally long for sovereignty, even if it's limited.
