Luo Fei broke down, he knelt on the ground, his mouth wide open, stuffing his fingers into his mouth, fiercely gouging at his throat, not wanting to cry out loud.
"What’s the use of doing this now? You could have saved them."
"I cannot betray the Master of Revelation! Otherwise, they would die even more tragically!" Luo Fei shouted, trying to rationalize, even trick himself, thus mitigating the sense of guilt within.
Chen Che cursed, gave the other people in the Investigation Department a look, signaling them to exit.
"Nana, you go outside and keep watch for me as well, don’t let others approach."
Xia Na hesitated for a moment but finally nodded.
Chen Che looked up and observed the room, there was only a small window, he closed it.
Then asked, "Did they never return after leaving yesterday?"
Luo Fei shook his head.
After receiving the answer, Chen Che checked other areas of the house to confirm no listening devices or other items.
After all, the house was so small in layout, it was easy to search thoroughly.
Chen Che looked up at Luo Fei and said blandly, "How do you think your wife and child died?"
"They were killed by that woman!"
"Bullshit, it’s they were harmed by you, that damn cult leader of the Master of Revelation."
"Insulting and slandering the Master of Weather! You’re further creating sins!"
"Since you’re so devoted to your Master of Revelation, why hasn’t your Master of Revelation helped you seek revenge?"
