The pressure was mounting for the Everton players.

To be honest, Rooney's performance had been fairly average in the first half. But now, he realized the gravity of the situation. He knew he had to step up and lead the attack.
And so, Rooney took charge, pushing Everton's offensive efforts with newfound determination.
In the 54th minute, Rooney dropped deep into midfield to collect the ball.
Now, facing a double-team from Cesc Fabregas and N'Golo Kanté, Rooney looked unfazed. It was clear he had already figured out how to break through Chelsea's defense.
Suddenly, Rooney halted his advance.
Using his physical strength, he held off the defenders, preventing them from making any initial challenges.
You had to admit, Rooney's ability to shield the ball was remarkable. He held off both Chelsea midfielders and managed to pass the ball cleanly.
In an instant, the ball found its way to Everton's attacking midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson!
Sigurdsson had been in good form throughout the match. In the first half, he had scored a stunning goal, and now, as he controlled the ball just outside the penalty area, Chelsea's defenders were understandably on edge.
Within seconds, multiple Chelsea defenders closed in on Sigurdsson.
However, both Antonio Rüdiger and David Luiz were a little too slow in their reactions!
Sensing the opportunity, Sigurdsson passed the ball quickly.
The ball reached Sandro Ramirez on the right side of Chelsea's penalty box!
Ramirez didn't even take a touch. He fired a powerful volley immediately!
And it has to be said—Sandro Ramirez's shot was ferocious. The ball flew towards the goal like a bullet.
But in that crucial moment, Chelsea's goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, demonstrated why he's regarded as one of the best in Europe.
Without hesitation, Courtois reacted with lightning speed.
His save was nothing short of extraordinary—jaw-dropping, even!
With no suspense, Courtois' right hand deflected the shot, keeping Everton from scoring!
This was pure Courtois brilliance.
In the very next second, Courtois quickly sent the ball out to Fabregas in midfield, sparking a Chelsea counterattack!
After receiving the pass, Fabregas wasted no time and sent the ball straight to Su Luo.
At that moment, the entire Stamford Bridge erupted with excitement, as tens of thousands of Chelsea fans cheered in anticipation!
Although Chelsea hadn't scored yet, the fans in the stadium were already shouting hysterically, some even celebrating as if a goal had been scored!
Not long after, Su Luo delivered a brilliant pass out of nowhere!
In an instant, the ball soared perfectly towards Morata, who positioned himself in the box.
Morata leapt up and won the header.
However, Morata knew his limitations. Breaking through two Everton defenders on his own was nearly impossible.
So, without hesitation, Morata passed the ball to Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas didn't waste a second.
With a clean strike, the ball rocketed into the goal, curving straight into the corner.
Pickford stretched, doing his best to save it, but Fabregas' shot was too precise and too powerful.
"Cesc Fabregas scores!!"
"Chelsea extend their lead to two goals!"
"This second half has seen a totally transformed Chelsea. What an incredible performance!"
After the restart, time was running out for Everton.
Ronald Koeman, Everton's head coach, was visibly frustrated as he watched his defense fall apart.
Furious, he shouted instructions at his players.
But it was too late. Chelsea regained control in midfield shortly after the kickoff.
This had been Everton's chance to attack.
Rooney, playing in midfield, received the ball and immediately pushed forward, determined to make something happen.
But Chelsea's defense was relentless. Kante, Fabregas, and even Su Luo closed in on him.
Three Chelsea players surrounded Rooney, leaving him no options.
In the end, it was brutal.
Su Luo tackled the ball cleanly, stripping Rooney of possession.
The Stamford Bridge crowd erupted in excitement!
With the ball at his feet, Su Luo took charge.
He weaved his way through the field, moving with precision and flair.
Everton's defenders quickly scrambled to stop him.
Holgate, Jagielka, and Ashley Williams all rushed to block Su Luo's path.
At the top of the penalty area, the three defenders stood firm.
But Su Luo was unfazed. He kept pushing forward, the ball glued to his feet.
With quick, sharp movements, Su Luo changed direction with his right foot, slipping past the defenders effortlessly.
There was no denying it—Everton's players were trying their best to stop him, but Su Luo was too slippery, like an eel, always managing to break through.
And this time was no different.
In the blink of an eye, Su Luo found himself in Everton's penalty area again.
Everton's goalkeeper, Pickford, immediately sensed the danger.
