Zhan Jun, watching Vardy's near miss, couldn't help but express concern about the rest of the match. However, Director Zhang remained confident in Chelsea.
Calmly, he spoke into the mic, "Leicester City's attack is sharp, no doubt, but Chelsea hasn't shown their true strength yet."
"Before long, Chelsea will bare their fangs."
In the stands of King Power Stadium, Leicester City fans groaned with disappointment.
"If they keep up this pace, it's only a matter of time before Vardy gets his hat-trick."
"Chelsea's defense isn't holding up well!"
"Come on! Don't give Chelsea any chance to recover!"
Back on the pitch, Chelsea slowed things down. Vardy's near-goal had shaken them, and they seemed more cautious, wary of another Leicester counterattack.
Now, the game had reached the 40th minute.
With just five minutes left in the first half, a 2-2 scoreline was acceptable for Chelsea.
At this point, their priority was to make sure Leicester didn't score again before halftime.
So, Chelsea players began to control the tempo, easing the pressure.
And after a tense first half, both teams headed into the locker rooms with the score tied at 2-2.
In Chelsea's locker room, Coach Conte's face reflected his disappointment.
He was far from happy with his team's performance, particularly Lukaku's lackluster showing up front.
But with Chelsea's attacking options limited, there wasn't much choice.
"Leicester City thrives on counterattacks," Conte began, addressing the team. "To beat them, we need to be aggressive in attack. I want you to go out there in the first ten minutes of the second half and get a goal quickly."
"This game is a must-win!"
"There's no room for error!"
Conte's eyes settled on Su Luo.
"Su, I need you to get more touches in the second half. You're the core of this team, and we need you to put pressure on their defense."
Su Luo nodded, fully understanding the responsibility on his shoulders.
As the second half kicked off, the Chelsea players were quick to implement Conte's strategy.
Su Luo received a pass from his teammate on the left wing and immediately burst forward with speed.
From the stands, Leicester City fans responded with a chorus of boos as Su Luo dribbled into their half, ready to break through their defense.
But the noise didn't faze him.
In a flash, Su Luo had already crossed into Leicester's half, poised for a decisive play.
