Su Luo didn't give Mam Diouf a chance.
With quick direction changes, Su Luo slipped past Diouf with a smooth nutmeg! His individual skills were truly terrifying.
As Su Luo entered the penalty area, Stoke City's goalkeeper rushed out, ready to make the save. But instead of taking the shot himself, despite being in a prime one-on-one position, Su Luo selflessly passed the ball to his teammate, Lukaku.
To be honest, Lukaku wasn't expecting it. He was caught off guard when the ball came to him, and for a brief moment, he seemed dazed. But fortunately, as a natural striker, his instincts kicked in, and he quickly took the shot.
The ball flew straight into the net. Chelsea had their fourth goal, making it 4-2.
And with that, the first half ended.
Throughout the first half, Chelsea had managed to control the tempo of the game, mostly thanks to Su Luo's exceptional performance. Stoke City's players had tried everything, but they simply couldn't find a way to stop Su Luo.
That was Stoke's Achilles' heel: without a way to contain Su Luo, winning seemed impossible.
As the second half began, Stoke City immediately went on the offensive.
Naturally, their core player, Shaqiri, was tasked with leading the attack. After the 15-minute break, Shaqiri seemed to be in even better form as the second half kicked off.
This time, Shaqiri received the ball in midfield. It wasn't the best position, as Chelsea's players quickly closed in on him. Kante and Bakayoko, two of Chelsea's key midfielders, were ready to double-team Shaqiri, effectively cutting off his options for a breakthrough.
But Shaqiri didn't panic. In a flash, he delivered a perfect through ball.
The ball landed at the feet of Stoke striker Jesé. Naturally, Jesé's first instinct was to shoot.
However, just as he was about to pull the trigger, Christensen and Azpilicueta appeared in front of him. These two center-backs were the backbone of Chelsea's defense. Both were experienced, and Azpilicueta, in particular, was a fixture in Chelsea's starting XI under multiple managers, a testament to his strength and reliability.
As Jesé went for the shot, Azpilicueta made a diving block, using his body to deny the attempt. It was a brilliant piece of defending.
Moments later, Courtois launched a long pass up the field, and Su Luo was quick to claim the ball.
Then, it was time for another moment of magic from Su Luo.
By now, every Stoke City defender knew how dangerous Su Luo could be. The moment he got the ball, three Stoke defenders rushed toward him.
But instead of attempting another dribble, Su Luo sent a high cross directly into the penalty area.
There, Lukaku was waiting. With his impressive leaping ability, he rose above Stoke's central defender and delivered a powerful header.
