Enoch heard this and his face was full of happiness immediately. He kissed Xia Ning at once. “Mummy, you said so. Don’t lie to me.” As he spoke, he turned to Qiao Yu and Gao Wanhua on the side. “Daddy, Grandma, you are my witnesses.”

“But you are sick. Only after the medicine can you get better,” Xia Ning said softly to Enoch who was in her arms. “Don’t you want to go out with Mummy when you are healthy and strong?”
Enoch looked up at Xia Ning and then to the black-colored medicine in the bowl. He bit his lips a little and finally nodded. “But I want Mummy to feed me.”
“Sure, I’ll feed you!” Xia Ning smiled helplessly and looked to Gao Wanhua. “Madam Qiao, do we need to reheat the medicine?”
“The temperature is okay. No need to reheat,” Gao Wanhua answered.
Xia Ning nodded and carried Enoch to the other side of the side table. She put him on the bed and took the bowl. Seeing the black-colored medicinal soup in there, even she could feel the bitterness, not to mention the kid.
Enoch looked up at Xia Ning and asked suddenly, “Mummy, why don’t you call Grandma Mum like Daddy. My classmates’ mums all call their grandmas Mum.”
