An Ran had a slim figure, and her shirt hung loosely on her, just like a nightdress.
But An Ran was quite distressed. When she came back and saw that Mu Xingfeng wasn’t there, she thought he had returned to the team and wouldn’t come back. All her clothes were locked in the school dormitory; aside from what she was wearing, she had no clothes to change into. She twisted her hands together, looking a bit flustered at Mu Xingfeng, then glanced down at the clothes she was wearing. "Um, Instructor Mu, my clothes are still at the dorm. I’ll wash this and give it back to you tomorrow."
Hopefully, Instructor Mu wouldn’t mind.
Mu Xingfeng momentarily lost his composure but quickly regained it. He placed his car keys on the shoe cabinet and casually said while changing his shoes, "It’s fine. You can wear it. I don’t wear that one."
He usually wore professional attire. If he wore casual clothes, he preferred black. This white shirt must have been bought for him by Lin Junyang. Mu Xingfeng gave Lin Junyang a silent thumbs-up in his heart.
"Oh," An Ran responded. She thought for a moment and then asked, "Instructor Mu, you didn’t go back to the team?"
Of course, Mu Xingfeng knew what the little girl meant and just said, "I went back during the day."
Does that mean he went back and then came back again? Three black lines appeared on An Ran’s forehead. Last night, he still acted like a gentleman saying he would go back even after drinking, yet today he went back and came back again. Instructor Mu, what are you trying to pull?
Though she thought that in her heart, she didn’t dare to say it. After all, this was Mu Xingfeng’s home.
Looking at An Ran’s changing expressions, Mu Xingfeng found it amusing but maintained a calm demeanor. Coming to the dining table, he looked at the lone bowl of noodles and asked, "This is dinner?"
"Mm, I thought you wouldn’t come back tonight." An Ran’s voice was small, soft, and sweet, like a kitten’s purr, and almost like she was being coquettish with him.
The family had already given him strict orders—if he didn’t hurry up, how could he bring her home for Spring Festival?
Mu Xingfeng secretly thought but kept a calm appearance.
Such shameless thoughts certainly wouldn’t show.
He went straight to the bathroom to wash his hands. Returning, he directly sat at the dining table and picked up the chopsticks to start eating.
Hmm, the little girl’s cooking skills are really good. Even this simple bowl of noodles was very delicious. It seems he indeed had good taste in selecting a wife. Just this alone, his stomach would be well taken care of for a lifetime.
Meanwhile, An Ran was stunned by his actions.
Seeing the man eating as if it were inevitable, she finally couldn’t hold back and said, "Instructor Mu, those noodles were made by me."
Mu Xingfeng swallowed the noodles and nodded as if it was a matter of course. "I know. I can’t cook. Are you going to let your landlord go hungry?"
This left An Ran speechless. She could only lower her small head and return to the kitchen to cook noodles again. Sigh, living under someone else’s roof really isn’t pleasant.
Though thinking so, An Ran still cooked more noodles. Men’s appetites are big, and the bowl she made according to her own appetite certainly wouldn’t be enough for Mu Xingfeng.
Sure enough, seeing An Ran bringing out two bowls of noodles, Mu Xingfeng’s dark eyes carried a hint of a smile.
