"I can." Mu Xingfeng slightly curled his lips, looking very pleased.
Only after leaving the fish stall did An Ran realize that the stout woman selling fish had definitely misunderstood them. Feeling a bit awkward, she chuckled dryly, "That lady was funny. How do we look like a couple? We clearly look more like siblings."

"Tired?" Mu Xingfeng asked.
"Yes, a bit. We’ve bought everything, let’s head back." An Ran turned around and walked towards the parking lot, feeling emotionally drained.
Mu Xingfeng still held her small hand. The little girl’s hand was soft and tender, as if it had no bones, making it exceptionally comfortable to hold.
"If you’re tired, we could eat out," suggested Mu Xingfeng.
"No, we’ve already bought the groceries," besides, she wasn’t really tired.
"Alright, then I’ll help you cook," Mu Xingfeng said cheerfully.
"Help me? I thought you couldn’t cook?" An Ran looked at him in surprise.
"I can learn," Mu Xingfeng felt it wasn’t a big deal. He had always been a quick learner, just lazy about cooking. But if it was with the little girl, he actually looked forward to it.
An Ran leaned back in the car seat and sighed, "Better not, I’m worried we might end up with no lunch to eat."
The disastrous outcome of the last dumpling incident reminded her that Mu Xingfeng cooking was just a waste of food.
Seemingly understanding the little girl’s thoughts, Mu Xingfeng nonchalantly said, "It’s okay, next time we can buy more groceries. These vegetable vendors are really honest and cute. We can support their business more."
