As Lin Ruonan followed Mu Xingfeng, another pair of eager eyes followed her too, but she failed to notice due to her deep sorrow.
"Let’s go, I’ll take you home," Gu Haoyu said as he approached Lin Ruonan.
Only then did Lin Ruonan realize that everyone had already left the private room. She nodded, "Thank you, Brother."
After leaving the private room, Mu Xingfeng headed straight for the parking lot while taking out his phone to call Jiang Zhuo.

"Sis, I’m busy right now. I’ll call you back later." He was about to hang up after saying this.
"Hey, little brother, your wife got beaten up, and you still have other things to do?" Mu Wanxin yelled, causing Mu Xingfeng to pause.
Then Mu Wanxin continued, "No matter what you’re doing, get back to Yujing Garden immediately."
Upon hearing this, Mu Xingfeng secretly breathed a sigh of relief. His sister’s words meant that An Ran had already returned home safely.
God knew, when he saw Chen Shanshan wielding a knife at An Ran, he felt an overwhelming urge to destroy everything. If anything had happened to her, he wouldn’t have known what to do.

Hearing the sound at the door, An Ran looked up and, upon seeing the tall, imposing figure, instinctively shrank back into the sofa.
Yuan Ye paused, "Did I hurt you?"
But An Ran didn’t reply to Yuan Ye. Her big eyes nervously watched the door, as though she were a small white rabbit facing a big bad wolf.
"You still know pain?" Mu Xingfeng said as he adjusted his breath and walked into the room, casting a glance at his little wife from head to toe.
Thankfully, besides the redness and swelling on her forehead and the bruise on her lip, she wasn’t hurt elsewhere.
"In...Instructor Mu, you’re...back...ow..." An Ran, with nowhere to hide, had to brace herself and greet Mu Xingfeng. She tried to smile, but the movement pulled at her lip injury, causing her to inhale sharply in pain.
