"Ah," An Ran called out instinctively, struggling to get down.
She absolutely didn’t expect that it was Instructor Mu holding her.
Mu Xingfeng was quite displeased. Was he really that terrifying? Seeing him caused this kind of reaction.
An Ran indeed didn’t dare to move anymore, she weakly said, "Instructor Mu, can you put me down? I’m okay now."
Okay now? Can you faint if you’re okay? Her small face was pale like a ghost, and she said she was okay?
"Why didn’t you report if you were feeling unwell in advance?" Mu Xingfeng asked.
"Uh, I wasn’t unwell, I felt fine." An Ran instinctively wanted to refute.
"Do you think I’ll believe what you said?"
Mu Xingfeng’s face was already dark, he glanced coldly, scaring An Ran who shivered. The warm embrace just now suddenly felt like she had fallen into an ice cave.
An Ran lowered her eyes, not daring to look at Mu Xingfeng’s face, tightly pursed her lips. The waves of pain in her stomach made her instinctively grab Mu Xingfeng’s clothes tightly.
Though it was a minor gesture, this small movement visibly pleased Mu Xingfeng. Suddenly he felt the urge to hold her , feeling her cling to him.
"Yo, Captain Mu, is this... your wife?"
The medical officer, Jing Xiangyang, saw Mu Xingfeng carrying a girl inside, his jaw almost dropped. After thinking for a while, he blurted out this sentence.
Right after saying it, he regretted it. This girl was wearing the special attire for military training, clearly a student. He couldn’t believe he joked with Captain Mu like that, he already anticipated his fate.

"No, a student." Four simple words answered Jing Xiangyang. With that, Mu Xingfeng placed An Ran on the bed in the infirmary: "She just fainted, check her out."
Jing Xiangyang was still standing there, waiting for Mu Xingfeng’s anger. Unexpectedly, he noticed Captain Mu didn’t get angry, his expression even held a touch of softness.
Whoa, was he seeing things? He actually saw a soft expression on Mu Xingfeng’s face.
After Mu Xingfeng finished speaking, seeing Jing Xiangyang still dazed, his look instantly turned fierce, a cold voice: "Are you not interested in being a doctor anymore?"
