Xiao Xiao looked at her pale face, held her hand under the table, and quietly asked, "What’s wrong? Stomach hurting again? How about we leave early?"
An Ran shook her head. "I’m fine, you guys keep playing. I’ll just take a nap on the sofa after we finish eating."
Xiao Xiao nodded but added worriedly, "Call me if you feel uncomfortable."
"Nagging, Xiao Xiao, you could really be my mom," An Ran joked.
"I care about you more than your mom does."
Seeing An Ran still joking around, Xiao Xiao felt relieved. By this time, everyone had almost finished eating. The waiter cleared the table and brought in some fruit, and opened the karaoke, making the whole room lively again.
An Ran sat in a corner of the sofa, watching everyone else play around when suddenly it got dark in front of her, and a strong fragrance wafted over.
