"Kangkang, I’m sorry. Mom shouldn’t have asked you that, I’m sorry!" she hugged him tightly, silently shedding two tears.
"Mom, are we not leaving?" the little guy asked expectantly.
An Ruo wiped her eyes on his clothes before looking up and smiling, "Kangkang, how about you go back with Mom first, and we can talk about other things later? It’s been a long time since you’ve been home, don’t you want to go home?"
The little guy thought it over and nodded reluctantly, "Okay then, let’s go home first."
Honestly, An Ruo had never imagined that Tang Yuchen would voluntarily return Kangkang to her. In her eyes, he had always been domineering and unyielding, which made her feel rather uncomfortable about his gesture.
But no matter what, it was a good thing that Kangkang could go back with her.
After packing some of Kangkang’s belongings, An Ruo took him back to her place. She didn’t go to work today, choosing instead to stay at home with her child.
