Foreign Land Reclamation By a Vegetable-growing Skeleton Chapter 852

Chapter 852: Chapter 476: Monarch’s Territory Chapter 852: Chapter 476: Monarch’s Territory Nosarlo was incapable of making such a significant decision. With a host of doubts and burdened by confusion, he returned to make his report.

Watching Nosarlo’s retreating figure, Negris could not help but complain, “I really don’t understand you. You just allied with Cabrela, and now you want to get involved with the Council of the Undead. What exactly are you trying to do?”

“What am I trying to do?” Anthony was startled for a moment, “‘Save, the king.'”

“Uh…” Those words were uttered by Ange, deliberately mimicking him right down to the pauses and tone.

“Do you think this will save Your Majesty?” Negris asked.

Anthony spread his hands. “I don’t know how to save Your Majesty, which is why I want to try everything. I’m muddying the waters now to see if I can catch any fish. Moreover, when we’re weak, it’s easier to gain the greatest benefit by keeping ambiguous relationships with various parties.”

At this point, Anthony suddenly turned serious, “Lord Negris, do you know which faction the Sorcerer Alliance and the Undead Empire belong to?”

Negris was startled by the sudden seriousness. Was he worried that it could not distinguish friend from foe?

“Of course, the Empire’s faction,” Negris replied irritably.

Anthony, equally irritably, punched him on the head: “We belong to the lord’s faction, you fool.”

“Kvada, you misled me. It was you who asked about the Sorcerer Alliance and the Undead Empire, not us,” Negris retorted angrily.

“If you don’t ask, you won’t remember, huh? Unstable loyalty,” Anthony laughed.

Negris was furious, but it understood that Anthony wanted to remind him because its earlier careless remarks had revealed its bias. Could it actually think that after allying with Cabrela, getting involved with the Council of the Undead was wrong?

Looking back, it indeed had a bias towards the Sorcerer Alliance. This was incorrect. They should not show any bias; they were loyal to Ange, and Ange’s will was their ultimate mission.

Ange, in fact, had not thought so much. He only went to rescue the lord because he was in danger, but if the lord was not in danger, he would continue growing his crops, just like back at the Temple of Rest.

In his heart, the king was still just the lord who occasionally strolled around the farm.

Of course, he didn’t know how to rescue him, he only knew how to farm, so naturally, this task was left to the more capable Anthony.

He was tirelessly practicing the Boundary-crossing Hand, and he was beginning to understand. It was not because of Buck’s Imprint that he could use the Boundary-crossing Hand,

but because Buck’s Imprint was attached to the soul of his current body, creating an energy pathway between the soul of the body, the Black Crystal Body, and the original self.

Why was this so? Because “I believe in myself.” Actually, Buck had become a fanatical follower of his own body, and by self-worshipping, this was somewhat akin to the relationship between the Gods of Light and the Master God.

These connected dots allowed him to successfully use the Boundary-crossing Hand with his current body.

However, due to some unknown restrictions, he could not transfer large volumes of materials like the original self, but he no longer had time constraints.

Couldn’t this mean… he could just reach in and start farming?

As long as he focused, Ange could see the inside of the Temple of Rest, and now he could reach his hand in…

He saw a lone figure flying back and forth over the fields, pulling up withered crops, plowing, sowing, watering–all in one smooth sequence, rapidly straightening up the two abandoned farms.

Satisfied, he withdrew his hand, only to see Negris looking at him askance, “Did you figure something out?”

With a quick turn of his eyes, Ange conjured up a quick-witted response: “Storing things, silver coins, Life Box!”

Bewildered, silver coin brought over the Life Box, which Ange stuffed into the Temple of Rest.

Silver coin’s eyes lit up, “That’s great, I was worried about where to safely keep the Life Box. Nowhere could be safer than the Temple of Rest, my lord. Which corner did you place it in?”

“Bronze Book Tower,” Ange responded.

“Kvada, you did that on purpose, didn’t you?” Negris jumped up angrily.

Silver coin chuckled, “The Tower is good, the Tower is clean. Don’t mind Lord Negris, think of it as just placing an urn.”

Upon hearing this news, Durken also quickly sent over his own Life Box. He did not need the Bronze Book Tower; he had his own palace.

Nosarlo, burdened with thoughts, flew southward, crossing the line and arriving in the desolate Land of Death. The Council of the Undead was at the very center of the Land of Death, also almost the farthest point from the Starburst Array on this plane.

This was a deep pit sunk into the earth. The deepest part of the pit was the Monarch’s domain, shrouded year-round by the Breath of Death Mist. No one knew what was inside, nor dared to enter the range of the mist.

The Council of the Undead was located to the left side of the pit, a row of buildings clinging to the cliff face, all core structures of the Undead Empire. Each cluster of buildings had a core structure, and the whole grouping centered around this core structure, flaunting its respective style, forming one cohesive whole.

Doesn’t it look familiar? Yes, it’s just like the layout of the secondary halls surrounding the main hall Inside the Temple of Rest, only here there are many more secondary halls, and they are clinging to the cliff sides, filled with an exotic style.

The Council of the Undead was in one of these clusters, a giant torch jutting out from the cliff wall, its structure wrapped in layers like a Flame Aura, with an altar at the very top, a flickering Undead Holy Fire upon it.
